My favourite 5 of 2012

I thought I would join in with the review of last year and show you my favourite 5 cards that I have made over the year. It is my first time joining in with Debby.
My first has to be the Birthday card I made for Meg back in April which you can find here.
The second is the Tryptich I made for My Father in law, for Primrose Day. The original post is here.

My third is the notebook and matching card I made here using the gorgeous spring distress ink colours!

These trees are also favourites, along with my craft a scene lighthouse and troubled sky.
Hmm, trees and scenes...bit of a theme there, lol! There were several other close runners, also with trees and rather scenic too!
I will leave you with photos of the desserts I provided on New Years Day. We had to do a detour to and from our friends' house due to the road being flooded, but they aren't totally cut off, thank goodness. I made a Chocolate gateau

and the biggest pavlova I have ever attempted - 12 inches across! It just fit in my Pizza tray!

May 2013 bring everything you hope for and, for all those affected by floods, some drier weather! Thanks for looking!

My favourite of these is the first - I just love the way that bird is flying. Impressed with that chocolate cake & the pavlova looks super with both kiwi & strawberries - however did you get those to travel without any damage?

Don't know how you managed to pick just five cards, Sally, all your cards last year were gorgeous. Must say your FIL's card was one of my favourites too though.

I'm trying not to look at the edible goodies! (Yum!)

It's so lovely to see all your cards again, Sally, they are all stunning. My favourite has to be those blue butterflies closely followed by that amazing stormy sky.
I'll have a slice of pavlova thanks, my favourite!!
Hope you haven't had too many problems with the the floods and enjoyed a great Christmas and New Year.

Firstly, your favs are gorgeous. Would have been so hard to pick just 5, but you managed very well. Loved each of 'em. Now 2ndly, the desserts: WOWSERS! They looked so yummy, I'm drooling. Pavlova is a new item to me, but it looks to be one I want to know. I am certain that your contributions to the meal were consumed down to the last crumb. Ummm-ummm-good. TFS
