Passion for promarkers challenge #3- pumpkin and cinnamon
'Pumpkin and Cinnamon for a baby card?' I hear you cry! Well I did use a fair bit of blender pen in a bid to make it peachy! Here is my entry for the passion for promarkers latest challenge. I also used cool aqua, canary, pastel pink, Saffron, satin and dusky pink. The stamp is from Pink Gem Designs. The background papers were from my stash, and they were on a pad, but the cover was missing, so I'm not sure who they are by - hope you like it!

ReplyDeleteGreat use of the blender pen - I could do with some tips on that!! What card do you use?? I LOVE your thinking with using these colours for a baby card - who says it has to be pink or blue?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for taking part and sharing your beautiful card with us at Passion for Promarkers.

Thanks for your lovely comments, everyone! Caryn - I use 'In 2 Craft'white A4 card 180g/m. I got it from Wilkos about £3 for 100 sheets.Bargain, lol! I gave the pram one layer of pumpkin colour and then used the blender pen where I wanted it to be lighter. The more you go over it the paler it gets, but obviously you don't want to damage the card surface! I finished it off by going round the bottom edge with the pumpkin again.Hope this is useful xxx
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks for your quick response hun!! I will have another go with the blender pen as I just haven't had a great deal of success with it so far. I thought it was maybe my card (Sainsbury's standard) but if you're not using anything special then it must be me!!! Thanks again.
