Another Birthday and lots of cups of tea!

This is my Brother's Birthday card. I just brayered with B&J waterfall and used Stampscape stamps in memento london fog and tuxedo black. Very simple. Next I saw the sketch on an oldie but a goodie and thought I would have a go. I used some flowery papers from Pink Petticoat, some gingham papers from my stash and the pink spotty paper (not sure where from, but another digi download). I wasn't sure what stamp to use on the centre. It was then my eyes alighted on the most recent craft stamper with it's little teacup stamp. I got a bit carried away and this was the result...

As I said, It was gong to be an entry for an oldie but a goodie, but it is a very new stamp. Really messed up there didn't I?! Anyway, I remembered a housemouse stamp I've had for about 4 years that was also a teacup...
So here it is. Four cards before I reached my objective, but I did enjoy myself!

  2. Goodness, you did get carried away, but to very good effect! The PP papers go perfectly with the teacups. Your brother's card is lovely too, gorgeous colours, and the misty background trees give great depth to the picture.

I've sorted most of my January birthdays from cards in stock, just got two to make for men. Hmm...
