Less is more Challenge 4 - three squares

Less is More this week has challenged us to make a CAS card using three squares. I'd been playing with some Adirondack inks to make some backgrounds and decided that I'd use some for my Less is more project.
The stamps I used are from the Elusive images wild meadow theme plate, on a background of stream, twilight denim and aubergine Adirondack inks. I used Sheena's wow embossing powders, and I have to say I'm impressed! Here is a close-up of the shimmer and shine!

I also sprayed it with iridescent gold glimmer mist. I added a few embossed lines with my score-pal and a waltzing mouse sentiment (I think that should be a bit lower looking at it now).
I was delighted to receive an email from Chrissie this morning telling me that my card from last week has been showCASed. I am over the moon! I get to display this lovely badge now.
Thanks so much to everyone who visited, and to Chrissie and Mandi for setting up such a wonderful Challenge. Thanks for choosing my card too! May Less is more go from strength to strength!

  1. These are really interesting tiles Sally, fabulous colours and beautiful textures... Individual little works of art.
I agree with you about the positioning of the sentiment. The old acetate trick works well for siting a sentiment!
    Thanks for another great submission.
    See you next week!

  9. What beautiful squares!! Looks like a lot of work too! I love the scored lines. The card is beautiful!! I think you're right about the sentiment. I stamped my sentiment on a transparency and then laid it over the card before I decided where to put it. Works really well for me.
