Cake!

As the weather was so awful yesterday we stayed at home and found time to do a little baking. These are Malteaser cupcakes - a joint effort between Meg and myself. Meg tried her hand at piping the frosting and was looking pretty good!

A malted flavour sponge with rich chocolate frosting and topped with broken and whole malteasers - yummy! EDIT: You can find the recipe here.

  5. Ohh yummy, Sally. You certainly know what to do with a wet day. Meg's piping is brilliant. I may be borrowing her!!!! Will have to check out that receipe.
    I have a 10" chocolate cake to make for next week so we are having a trial run this week for Hubby's birthday so watch this space!!
