Pretty in Pink
I am sure most of you realise that I don't tend to do 'pink and girly', in fact I very rarely use pink on it's own, and wasn't sure what to do, but then it came to me! I made a scene in lots of different shade of pink! I know it is a bit unusual, but I think it works okay! I used my ink dusters and a range of pink
inks, namely Adirondack shell pink, Mountain Rose, Cranberry and
Watermelon, Impress cherry pink, and memento Lilac Posies. All stamps,
ink dusters and mountain /valley stencil are from Inkylicious..That is a lot of Pink ink that I own!!! If you haven't seen ink dusters before take a look at my ink dusters page which you will find the tab for under the title of my blog.
We have a great prize on offer this month (all three pictures), donated by Stix 2 and the Stamping Sensations DT, take a look!
We hope you will come and join in with the pinkiness over on the challenge blog! Do take a look at my teamie's wonderful and inspiring creations too!
A quick wave and welcome to my new followers. Thanks for joining me on my blogging journey. Thanks for looking!

If pink is outside your comfort zone Sal, then I would never know. Perfect ink dusting and the maple leaves finish it nicely.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of the weekend.

Absolutely LOVE your pink scenic card Sally.
ReplyDeleteI don't really do pink either! But it's good to get out of your comfort zone from time to time isn't it?
Hugs, Sarn xxx
fantastic scene have you made.
ReplyDeleteLove your pretty pink landscape Sally, gorgeous as usual:)

Pink isn't my thing either but this is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThis is different, I really like it, just shows what you can achieve with a change of colour.

This is just gorgeous,fab colour.x
ReplyDeleteA real stunner with those different pink shades & I love the mist floating across the sun & your leaves just flopping into the scenery. We had a Buzzard hovering nearby just like that (though minus that great backdrop of the sun).

I absolutely adore this card. The scene is so serene and peaceful. Pink may not be your thing, but you've done so well with it here. And I'm not sure we quite believe you that it isn't your thing with all those pink inks you own! Although, I do know it is hard to find a good pink. I am still lacking a good one myself.
ReplyDeletereminds me of a beautiful wild sunset. Fab card.
ReplyDeleteI think it works brilliantly, Sally, I absolutely love it! A beautifully serene scene, and the bird is perfectly placed. Strangely, considering I don't do pink either, I'm rather liking how all those different shades work together. And especially how you got the variation in tones on the maple leaves. x
ReplyDeleteLet me say your pink worked very well! I could see the morning sunrise over the mountaintops. You captured the softness & serenity of that glowing light & the pinks, lavendars perfectly with your shades on this scene. Sure doesn't appear that pink is outside your comfort zone. Wonderful colors, beautiful card. TFS & Hugs. Happy Sunday as well.
ReplyDeleteI am in seventh heaven with the vision of pinkness. You must make more forthwith !! I'm in love!! hugs Mrs A.
