Such a stunning card Sally, the bat look almost real with the woodgrain. I was going to order this the other day, then remembered I'd bought it at Ally Pally, just need to get it out and have a play with it now.

Fantastic way to use a wood grain stamp, I might have to "borrow" that idea for my cricket-mad nephews' cards!
ReplyDeleteAn absolutely stunning finished card for a man.
Forgot to say - I bet the recipient will be bowled over by this card. OK, so I need to get out more - sigh :(

What a wonderfully clever way to create this cricket bat! So much dimension and super way to use the woodgrain stamp too. Love your shaded hills & background and delightful way to hide the boo-boo with your vine. Added so much interest to the playing ground. How great was it that it's also realistic for one of your playing fields too. Just goes to show: It was meant to be! TFS & Hugs too.
ReplyDeleteWhat superb cricket bat - looks absolutely real! I think your background scene is so restful and reminds me of watching cricket on a village green. Thanks so much for playing along with The Male Room!
