Another sparkly card

Hi There! I am here with another sparkly seasonal card for my Bee Crafty project this week. Here's how I made it.

I cut a square panel of grey card and used the easy frame circle and white ink to create an outline for my wreath. I also sponged white ink around the edges.
Next I used the leafy stamp from the Baubleicious stamp set to stamp around the circle in brown ink.
Using green ink I added more foliage from the same stamp set around the circle.
I used the small berry stamp to add to the wreath using plum coloured ink.
Using metallic water colour paints I painted the leaves in green. I splattered the card with the paint brush too.
Using red metallic watercolour paint I added some more slatters to the card and left it to dry.
I used liquid pearls and Stickles glitter glue to add berries to the wreath.
On a separate piece of card I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in red ink and heat embossed it using crackling campfire Distress glaze
Finally I matted and layered the panel to a square card and added the sentiment on 3d foam pads to the centre.
Here's another angle so you can see the sparkle.
I used:
Easy Frame circle (I used the 6" but I think the 4" would work equally well)
White ink
Brown green and plum coloured ink (I used memento but Versafine Clair would work too)
Distress Embossing glaze - I used Crackling Campfire but Lumberjack Plaid or Candied apple would be equally good
Grey card
White base card
Paper for matting and layering
3d foam pads

I am pleased with how this one turned out! Thanks for looking and don't forget to enter the challenge!

  1. Such a beautiful shimmery wreath and love the added berries and spattering Sally, and very pretty on the grey card with the red matted layer, and finished with a matching fishtail banner sentiment...a wonderful card! x
