Pretty Pastels

Hi There! I've gone all pastel shades with this card for you today. Here's how I made it.
I began by stamping the script background around a panel of smooth white card measuring 4.5 x 6.5 inches using tumbled glass distress ink.

Next I attached the circles big one inkable and used blending brushes to add more tumbled glass, Picked raspberry and Squeezed lemonade distress ink
On a separate piece of card I stamped the doodle art sunflower and coloured it with pastel ecoline pens before cutting it out.
I stamped the sunflower onto the background in the position I wanted it and added the coloured cut out sunflower on top, using Matte Medium.
On a scrap of white card I stamped the sentiment in Versafine clair ink and sponged a little blue ink around the edge. I added this to the card too.
Here is the finished card once more.
I used:
Big one inkable  - Circles 1
Distress inks - I used Tumbled Glass, Picked Raspberry and Squeezed Lemonade
Versafine Clair ink in Morning Mist
Ecoline Pens
Matte Medium
Smooth white card
5x7" blank card
Paper for matting and layering

A Dandedaisy card

Hi There! I thought I would show you how I made this card today.

I began by blending some Mustard Seed Distress Ink onto a 14cm square piece of smooth white card.
Next I stamped the script background stamp over the whole panel also with Mustard Seed Distress Ink.
I inked up a section of the Bakewell Big One Inkable using Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide ink. I then spritzed it with water and laid it onto the background. I dried it using a heat tool then repeated this step to add ink to the lower section of the card panel.
On a separate piece of card I stamped the largest Dandedaisy and painted it using the same distress and distress oxide inks and a little water. Once dry I cut it out.
After sponging more Charted Mariner ink around the edge, I added the panel to the front of a 15cm square card. I stamped the sentiment in the yellow section of the card using Memento clair ink.
Finally I added the dandedaisy on 3d foam pads  onto the card.

I used:
Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide ink
Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink
15cm square white base card
14cm square of white smooth card

I will be live this evening at 8pm over on the bee Craft Facebook page. I hope you can join me!

Monochrome

Hi there! I am here with a step by step tutorial to create this simple journal page.

I began by cutting a piece of the greyscale catalyst card from set 4 (A5) and attached it to the page using Matte Medium.
Next I covered one of the texture discs with black soot distress oxide ink, spritzed with water and pressed it onto the page. I lifted off the texture disk and dried the page using a heat tool.
Using the dotty Dinkable I added more ink using a blending brush, as well as around the edges of the page.

I cut the circles and the word from the transparency prints and added them to the page using Matte Medium.

On a scrap of white card I stamped the sketchy flower and cut it out leaving a small white border.
Finally I added the flower to the page too. Here is the finished page....
And next to it's companion in the journal.

I used:
Catalyst cards set #4 - A5 greyscale
Dinkables set #2
Transparency Prints - Beautiful and Brave, and Journaling Essentials #1
Sketchy Flowers stamp set
 Versafine Clair Black ink
Matte Medium

Although monochrome is out of my comfort zone, I love how beautifully this contrasts with it's colourful companion! It's also inspiration for the challenge over in the Bee crafty Stamps group.

Wild and Free

Hi There! I had a lovely play in my journal this week creating this page. Here's how I did it.

I began by covering the page using 2 pieces of catalyst papers. adding a torn edge which I inked using vintage photo distress ink. I stuck them down using matte medium.
I added some torn washi tape in strips down the page.
On a separate piece of paper I stamped some sketchy flowers and coloured them with ecoline pens before  cutting them out.
I also stamped the clock and cog border in grey versafine clair ink and cut it out
I added the elements to the page along with a sentiment from a transparency sheet.
Here is the finished page again.
I used:
Versafine Clair ink in Nocturne and Morning Mist
Ecoline pens

If you aren't aware already there is a brand new challenge over on the Bee Crafty Stamps facebook group where the theme is monochrome. Here's a little inspiration.

Tonight at 8pm I will be live over on the Bee Crafty stamps page creating something monochrome as inspiration too.

Time flies when you are crafting!

Hi There! I am here with a super quick vintage journal page in my mini journal today.

I began by cutting a piece of the greyscale ledger catalyst card and inking around it using vintage photo distress oxide ink.
Next I sprayed a tag inkable using bundled sage distress oxide spray and laid it onto the page.
Once this was dry, I splattered the page with walnut stain Distress Oxide spray.
Using versafine Clair Avocado ink I stamped the cogs randomly around the page.
I also stamped some clocks in sand dune too.
to finish the background I added some stitched border stamping using portobello ink.
I cut the sentiment from the transparency sheet and added it using matte medium.
on a scrap of catalyst card and a scrap of kraft card I stamped a clock and the doodle art butterfly, Embossing in clear and cutting them out.
Finally I added these to the page using matte medium.

Here is the finished page again....
...and next to it's partner in the journal.

I used:
5x5 notebook journal
Distress oxide ink in Vintage photo
Distress oxide spray in bundled sage and walnut stain
Versafine Clair ink in Avocado, Sand Dune and Portobello

I have had so much fun playing with the new stamps. I can't seem to put them away!

New Products from Bee Crafty!

Hi There! Yesterday we had a fabulous time launching two brand new stamp sets, 2 new sets of Catalyst cards with 3 sizes and full colour or greyscale options and some gorgeous transparency sentiments. My first card was created during my facebook live which you can find here for the next 30 days but also on my You Tube channel
The new Catalyst cards are absolutely gorgeous and it is very easy to create a quick and simple card like this with them.
In my journal I created a rainbow background with dylusions paints then used the stamps and transparencies to create these pages.
By stamping a panel of card with the clocks and cogs, I made this clean and simple card.
This z fold card showcases another of the stunning papers and one of the stamp sentiments. The clock was coloured using inks blended through 2 different texture discs.
The brand new ledger catalyst cards were perfect for this vintage effect card.
I love the colours on this catalyst card! A perfect backdrop for the simply stamped and embossed clocks.
I smooshed some ink onto a piece of card that was a perfect fit for the large clock with just enough space for the sentiment. I also added some stamped cogs to that gorgeous design of catalyst card
Finally this rainbow card was made by brushing ecoline inks over a piece of watercolour card and adding a few sprinkles of salt. Once it was dry I stamped the clocks and cogs and added the transparency sentiment.

The new stamps, transparencies and catalyst cards can be found on the website following this link:
