Resting Witch Face journal page

Hi There! I am here with a simple journal page for my blog post today. Here's how it came together.

I chose an autumn portrait catalyst Collage paper and trimmed off the white edges. I then stamped some elements from Journaling Essentials #9 around the page using walnut stain distress oxide.
I stamped the Doodle Art pumpkins on a scrap of paper and watercoloured them using more distress oxide inks.
Next I stamped some leaves from the Art Stamp mixed leaves set and smooshed them with contrasting distress oxide inks
Once these elements were dry I added the page to my journal and the leaves and pumpkins to the page.
using both stardust and white gelly roll pens, I added some highlights to the page, both on the catalyst collage paper and the stamped items.
I finished off the page by adding an autumn wordy sticker, adding more faux stitching around the sticker.
I used:
Catalyst Collage papers - Autumn Portrait A5
Distress oxide inks - I used walnut stain, Carved Pumpkin, Peeled Paint, Crackling Campfire and Aged Mahogany
Black Versafine or versafine clair ink

Moths and Peonies from Bee Crafty

There are some absolutely stunning new stamps and papers launched yesterday by Bee Crafty! Here are a few makes that I have created with them so far. They are all absolutely gorgeous and I know I am going to love using them over and over again! First up is a journal spread using the Autumn portraits A4 catalyst collage papers and the Moths stamp set.
For this vintage style card I used the Peony print stamp and the Moths, colouring with a mixture of Distress inks and coloured pencils.
The gorgeous A5 Autumn portraits Catalyst Collage papers were used for this journal spread, along with the peony print stamp
This journal page used one of the A5 moths and peonies papers which I smooshed and coloured with Distress Inks. I used coloured pencils to colour the butterflies/ moths on the page and added an extra stamped moth bottom right.

For this card I embossed both the moth and the peony print stamp in white embossing powder and then washed with watercolours.

All of the new stamps and papers can be found here along with a fabulous bundle if you just can't choose!

Bee Happy Today journal Page

Hi there! I am here with a super quick journal page for you today. I wanted to do one to go with the page I did last week, but didn't have a lot of time. Here's what I did.

I began by selecting a piece of catalyst collage paper which I cut to fit the page. (Please ignore the faux stitching at the top of the page- I was getting a bit ahead of myself!!!)

Next I stamped some of the smaller stamps from Journaling Essentials 9 around the page using black ink
I added more stamping using bali Blue versafine clair ink.
Once this was dry I added a white faux stitiched line all around the page and stuck it into the journal.
On a separate piece of white card I stamped the smaller cone flower using black ink and cut it out.

Finally I added this and a wordy sticker to the page. I also added some black faux stitching around the wordy sticker.
Here are the two pages side by side.

I used:
Posca pen
Black fine liner
Matte Medium

When it was dry I added faux stitching using a bright pink gelly roll Moonlight pen.
Around the page I added some stamping using Peeled Paint and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink with some of the worker stamps from Journaling Essentials 9.
Finally I added a wordy Sticker sentiment, adding a bit more faux stitching and a black border

On a separate piece of card, I stamped the smaller cone Flower in the same ink and cut it out. I coloured it using distress inks.
Finally I added it to the background along with some wordy stickers, adding some faux stitching with a gel pen and a fine liner.

Learn from Yesterday Art Journaling

Hi There! Here's a journal spread that I created using the latest stamps, Dinkables and Catalyst Collage papers from Bee Crafty. Let me show you how I did it.

I began by painting the right page of a double in my Kraft journal with white gesso.
Next, I added some drops of laidback lilac, peony blush and pure sunshine Dylusions paint, and spread them around with my fingers.
Once this was dry I used the lines Dinkable to add some polished jade dylusions paint...
and some white gesso through the Dotty Dinkable.
I added my selected Catalyst collage paper, torn to fit, to the left page with matte medium.

Using the same dinkables and paint I added some dots and lines to the left page. I also added a few scraps left over from the papers to the right page with matte medium.
On a piece of white card, I stamped the largest cone flower and coloured it with coloured pencils. Then I cut it out.
Finally, I added it to the right page with matte medium, along with some wordy stickers.
Here are the finished pages again.
I used:
Catalyst Collage papers - I used Birds and Sunflowers A5
Dylusions paint - I used laidback lilac, peony Blush, Pure sunshine and polished jade
White gesso
Black ink - I used Versafine Clair Nocturne
Coloured pencils

Hey Sunshine!

Hi There! I thought I would show you how I made this simple card today using the gorgeous new stamps from Bee Crafty.

I began by stamping the beautiful larger coneflower in black Versafine Clair ink and coloured it in using ecoline pens. Once it was done I cut it out.
Next I took an A5 base card and fastened a big one inkable to it using masking tape. Through the inkable I blended 3 distress oxide inks.

I added to the background by stamping various stamps from Journaling Essentials #9 in lost shadow Distress Ink.
Next I added a border using several worker stamps from the Cone Flower set, also in Lost shadow ink
I used a sentiment from Mixed Messages #4 stamp set in Purple Delight Versafine Clair ink.
I used 3d foam pads to add the cone flower to the front of the card.
Finally I added some white highlights to the flower using a gel pen.
I used:
Distress oxide inks in Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed and Picked Raspberry
Distress ink in Lost Shadow
Versafine Clair ink in Nocturne and Purple Delight
A5 card
3d foam pads
Ecoline pens
White gel pen

I will be live over on the Bee crafty Facebook page at 8pm this evening, so please tune in if you can!
