February Challenge at Stamping Sensations

Good morning, It's time for a new challenge at Stamping Sensations and this month we are looking for
****Feminine****
As the title suggest we would love to see your stamped creations that reflect the theme. I am sure you will come up with lots of fabulous designs.
My first card this month features gorgeous stamps and stencils from our lovely sponsors,  Bee Crafty. I stamped the gorgeous flower from the XL ladybird set and masked it off, then sponged wilted violet, peacock feathers and blueprint sketch distress oxide for the background. I placed the mandala 4 stencil over the right corner and sprayed with water, blotting after a few seconds. I then did this again over the flower image. I took off the mask and coloured the image with arteza brush markers, but felt it needed more dimension, so I stamped the flower twice again, added a leaf and coloured them, cutting and layering with 3d glue gel.
I stamped the sentiment in versamark and embossed with white embossing powder, then stuck to the card.
My second card this month fatures a gorgeous Digi from JMC designs, who are providing us with an additional prize to our main sponsors. This is Cosmo Polly, although I may have forgotten to add the cranberry juice, lol. I really don't know anything about cocktails. A G&T is the most exotic thing on my radar!
Please can I remind you we are a stamping challenge so must see a stamped image which reflects the theme as the focal element of your artwork , this means:
Stamping must be the central point of attention and interest

Our prizes this month are A £25 voucher to spend at Bee Crafty and a whole collection of JMC digis! Do pop over to the challenge blog and take a look at the fabulous creations from my talented team mates!
Just a quick mention whilst I am here to let you know that my first DT cards for Crafty Individuals will be on Hochanda on Tuesday at 10am and 4 pm. There are some stunning stamps to feast your eyes on! Thanks for looking!

More Inspiration for Stamping Sensations January challenge

Here is my mid-month inspiration for Stamping Sensations where the theme is Fabulously Feminine. As you can probably tell, feminine to me isn't pink and floral. It is a theme I struggle with way more than anything masculine!  These stamps are from Acid drops and Whatnots, whose stamps are still available I  believe at Craft Stash. I stamped in Adirondack Rust and used a waterbrush to spread the colour a little. The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Clair  - my new favourite ink! The papers were freebies from a magazine donated to me a while ago and the leaf die is from Pink Frog.
You still have plenty of time to enter the challenge, so do pop over to the challenge blog for more inspiration. Don't forget to check your entry against the challenge rules!
Thanks for looking!

April at Stamping Sensations

Good morning, It's time for a new challenge at Stamping Sensations and this month we are looking for
********One for the Girls********
As the title suggest we would love to see your creations featuring all things feminine. It could be flowers, feminine colours, bling or just about anything that would appeal to the ladies in our lives!
My card was made for my great niece and features a stamp from many, many years ago. I think it was by Sugar Nellie, but I don't think it is available any longer. The background was stamped with an Inkylicious leaf and spritzed using Be Creative mini spritzers. The main image was coloured with watercolour markers and a Be Creative water brush. The whole thing was assembled using Be Creative wondertape.
As you have probably realised, our sponsors this month are Be Creative. Gordon and Justin have very kindly donated a £25 voucher for their web store, and with some new goodies coming to their website this month, we can't wait to see what new, value-for-money products they are launching!

Please can we remind you we are a stamping challenge so must see a stamped image as the focal element of your artwork, not just a stamped sentiment or stamping in the background, this means:
Stamping must be the central point of attention and interest

Do pop over to the challenge blog and take a look at the gorgeous designs from all my talented teamies! They really have made some beautiful cards this month!
Thanks for looking!

April at Stamping Sensations

Good Morning! It is the first Sunday of the month, so time for our April challenge at Stamping Sensations, where this month we have a great theme of........

********One for the Girls********

Now I decided to veer away from the predictable and create a couple of cards that are feminine, but not pink or cute! My first card features that Woodware Clear Magic single flower, coloured with alcohol markers and added glitter glue. The base card (Colourplan White) was stamped in citrus shades of Distress Ink using an Inkylicious leaf and the flower was mounted on a strip of stardream card, embossed with a stencil for Inky Doodles.
The stamp on my second card is another Woodware Clear Magic one, and I have paper pieced it to imitate some of the wide range of converse style footwear available. I added white gel pen to the laces and eyelets.
we are being sponsored by PDA Cards and Craft this month. I am a very lucky crafter as I live only a 25 minute drive away from PDA at Langley Mill, and visit (and spend lots!!!) often. Their paper and card selection are wonderful and they also stock a wide range of other crafting products, including some Woodware stamps, promarkers and stickles!
Here is the prize:

I'd be very happy to help you with the spending of that if you want, lol!  Be sure to pop over to the challenge blog and take a look at the stunning feminine creations that my talented team mates have created.
Thanks for looking and for all your lovely comments too.
