Hi There! Thought I would share a bit of journaling with you today. Here's how it came together.
I began by spraying the page with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide spray, Tarnished Brass Distress stain and Fossilized Amber Distress Spritz. When this was dry, I stamped clocks and cogs in Peacock Feathers Distress oxide ink across the page.
Next, I added some script in Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink...
along with some stitchy borders and a little stencilling through a texture disc.
In my stash I found some teal coloured parchment paper. I heat embossed the leaves on it before cutting them out.
I stamped the rainbow bird and painted it using pastel shades of distress oxides.
Using Matte Medium, I attached the leaves and bird to the left page.
On the right page I added a transparency sentiment.
Here is the finished page again.
I used:
Distress oxide spray - I used Salvaged patina
Distress spray stain - I used Tarnished Brass
Distress Spritz - I used Fossilized amber
Distress oxide inks in Vintage Photo, Peacock Feathers, Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold and Spun Sugar
