Time flies when you are crafting!

Hi There! I am here with a super quick vintage journal page in my mini journal today.

I began by cutting a piece of the greyscale ledger catalyst card and inking around it using vintage photo distress oxide ink.
Next I sprayed a tag inkable using bundled sage distress oxide spray and laid it onto the page.
Once this was dry, I splattered the page with walnut stain Distress Oxide spray.
Using versafine Clair Avocado ink I stamped the cogs randomly around the page.
I also stamped some clocks in sand dune too.
to finish the background I added some stitched border stamping using portobello ink.
I cut the sentiment from the transparency sheet and added it using matte medium.
on a scrap of catalyst card and a scrap of kraft card I stamped a clock and the doodle art butterfly, Embossing in clear and cutting them out.
Finally I added these to the page using matte medium.

Here is the finished page again....
...and next to it's partner in the journal.

I used:
5x5 notebook journal
Distress oxide ink in Vintage photo
Distress oxide spray in bundled sage and walnut stain
Versafine Clair ink in Avocado, Sand Dune and Portobello

I have had so much fun playing with the new stamps. I can't seem to put them away!

A super quick journal page

Hi There! I am here with a super quick and simple journal page today.

I began by using an A5 catalyst card from set #1 and cutting it to size, attaching to the page with matte medium.
Next I stamped some flowers from the dandydaisy set, along with the doodle art sunflower head and coloured with ecolines. Then I cut them out.
I selected a sentiment from the creative words transparency and cut those out.
Finally I arranged these on the page and and stuck down using matte Medium.
Here is the finished page again,
I used:
Ecoline pens

Go For It!

Hi there! Thought I would show you how I made this card for my blog post today.

I began by covering a tag inkable in distress oxide ink, giving it a spritz of water then laying it ink side down on a piece of mixed media or watercolour card. I did this three times with the three different colours then dried with a heat tool.
Once this was dry I added some more colour using the same inks and blending brushes.
Next I took the innie from the 4" star easy frame and blended black soot distress oxide over it. I did this 3 times too. I also sponged a little black ink around the edges
using the Background Script stamp I added some patches of script randomly around the card using the black soot Distress Oxide ink
Next I added a few patches of Distress Spritz over the panel.
I cut the 3 words from the transparency sheet and added them to the stars using matte medium.

Finally I attached the whole panel to a DL sized card. I did contemplate adding more to it, like white pen or butterflies but decided it was fine as it was.
I used:
Mixed media card 9.5 x 20.5cm
DL card
Tag inkables - I used set 2 - Check out the offer on these at the moment
Distress oxide inks - I used Black Soot, Abandoned Coral, Mustard Seed and Lucky Clover
Distress Spritz - I used Worn Lipstick
Transparency Prints - I used Spontaneous words black on clear

There is just over a week left to get your entries into the Vivid challenge over on the Bee Crafty Stamps facebook group. I hope you can join in and also take advantage of the tag inkables offer!
