Last reminder for the Challenge

Hi there! I am here with a quick journal page using some of the new spring release from Bee Crafty. Here's how I made it.

I began  by covering the page with a piece of Catalyst Collage papers from the Spring Paint (A4) set. I attached it with Matte Medium.

Next, I stamped around the page using the Border from the Daisy set and Versafine Clair Bali Blue ink.
Swapping to Hawthorn Rose ink I stamped the bubbles from the same set.
Next I added some of the hearts from the Lilius set in golden Meadow ink.
On a separate piece of paper, I stamped, cut out and coloured the smaller lillius. I also stamped it onto the background, so I didn't need to fussy cut the stamens.
Using the same black ink, I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of the paper and sponged a little purple ink around the edge.
I added some colour to the border on the page using ecoline pens and stuck down the coloured flower over the place where I stamped it. I added a few white pen highlights to the flower too.

Finally, I used a yellow Gelly Roll moonlight pen to add in more highlights.
Here is the finished page again....
and here it is opposite last week's in the journal.

I used:
Versafine Clair ink  - I used Bali Blue, Hawthorn Rose, Golden Meadow and Nocturne (black)
Ecoline pens
Matte Medium

A very quick journal page

Hi There! I am here with a super simple journal page for my blog post this week.

I began by tearing and cutting some pieces of Catalyst Card to fit the page of my 5x5 journal. I attached them using Matte Medium.
Next I stamped the smaller tulip and daffodil onto book pages. I coloured these with colouring pencils and cut them out.
I added these to the page using matte medium.

Using Versafine Clair ink I stamped the sentiment onto a scrap of card, sponging a little pink ink around the edge.
Finally I attached the sentiment to the page with more Matte Medium.

I used:
Spring 2026 Doodle Art - I used the Tulip and Daffodil stamp sets
Matte Medium
Pencil Crayons
Black Versafine Clair ink
Book page
5x5" notebook/ Sketch book

This was super quick and easy and would be suitable for this month's challenge where the theme is to use Doodle Art Stamps.

Spring Doodle Art New Stamps!

Hi there! I am here with some samples for the new stamps from Bee Crafty that were released yesterday. First of all I have a Daffodil tea light lantern (using a fake tealight), stamped and embossed onto vellum.
Here's a simple single layer card using the smaller tulip stamp and that beautiful border.
This set of journal pages featured all of the new stamps in the larger size along with lots of the smaller worker stamps. the background is blended Distress Oxide inks.
This card was created using the Daffodil set over a Distress ink blended background
This is another single layer card made using the daisy stamp set over a distress ink blended background.
For this journal page, I smooshed a background and added some stamping and stencilling using tag inkables and Journaling essentials #9. I then stamped, coloured and cut out each of the flowers and added them to the page along with the sentiment.
Here's a simple candle, stamped onto tissue, coloured and melted into the surface of the candle.

I went for a Vintage look with the Lilius stamp and used the same flower from the Sketchy flowers set either side of the sentiment.
Finally here is the card I made during the Facebook Live that was part of the launch yesterday.

You can find all 4 of the new Doodle Art stamp sets, along with some gorgeous new Catalyst Collage papers following this link. There are some great bundle deals too!

Be the Rainbow

Hi There! I'm here with a Journal page using this week's bee Crafty Palette and one of the stamps that's in the Flash Sale (Bev and Sam are making room for new stamps!!!) Here's how the page came together.

I began by blending distress oxide inks across the pages.

Next I sprayed the Bakewell inkable big one with water and laid it onto the inky pages. Once this had had about 30 seconds to react I blotted the pages.
on a piece of book page I stamped Sky Terrace, then used the same oxide inks to colour it using a paint brush.
Once this was dry I added it to the pages with Matte Medium.
I used black Versafine Clair to add some stamping with Journaling Essentials #9 around the edges of the pages.
In the centre of the pages I added a sentiment from the Creative Words Transparency Print to finish it off.
Here are the finished pages again.

I used:

Distress Oxide inks in Villainous Potion, Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers, Mustard Seed and Carved Pumpkin
Versafine Clair Black ink
Book page
Matte Medium
5x5" journal/ notebook
