Animals at Penny Black and More

The September challenge at Penny Black and More is Animals, so a perfect opportunity to share an Elephant!
This beautiful stamp was from Pink Ink and one that I treated myself to with birthday money. I stamped it on a background smooshed with Distress oxide inks then added some colour to the elephant with watercolour pens. I bleached the colour from the tusks and added some liquid pearls. This stamp is huge, filling an A5 card, but is very good quality and stamps beautifully with either a block (I used a cuttlebug plate!) or a stamp platform.
Thanks for looking!

This elephant from Pink Ink is fabulous Sally and I love what you've done with it, and with the pattern all over it the added liquid pearl dots on the pretty florishes and head and foot decorations work beautifully. The ferns look great and that fun sentiment too. x

This is gorgeous, Sally and beautifully designed. I know how difficult it can be to incorporate such a large design, but you did it so well. The tusks are really well done and I love the addition of the Liquid Pearls. Stunning. Now why did I never think of using one of my die cutting plates as a mount, lol? Instead I've been struggling with stamps half on half off smaller mounts - duh! There are some really large stamps around at the moment - great for journaling but not so easy to use on cards. This is a delight.
