Rudolf Days for March

Hi there! How is everyone doing? I have sent off all my samples for the next Crafty individuals show and now I am just catching up with a few bits and bobs here in blog land. We are observing social distance rules, exercising regularly and only braving the supermarket once a week. Crafting, gardening and crochet with local walks and a bit of karate practice is seeing me through. The only thing that is being curtailed at the moment is baking, due to panic-buying, stock-piling nicompoops (Don't get me started!) Hope you are coping okay.
Anyway, now is the perfect time for preparing for a handmade Christmas, lol. Many friends will be receiving a crocheted gift, and of course we can get on with Christmas cards. Without further ado, here are my two cards for the Rudolf Days challenge this month, both using a woodware wreath stamp that I had for Christmas.

They were both coloured using watercolour pens (a mixture of Zig and Arteza) with added dots of glitter glue and liquid pearls. The design papers were from a pack I bought from the works, as were the stitched dies.
Do pop over to Maureen's blog to take a look at the inspiration there.
Thanks for looking!

Hi Sally your cards are both gorgeous, beautifully coloured and designed, have to say I love the plaid paper on the first card.
Pleased you are coping well, and finding things to do, thank goodness for the crafting, although I do miss my choral rehearsals and aqua aerobics, now I can sing at home, but the bath ain't deep enough for the aerobics lol, Kate x

Two beautiful cards. It always amazes me how to cards with the same image can look so different with the various designs we choose.

The circular die wreath looks so stunning against that plaid DP background.
The second card is so very different with its square die and layers of mat and DP. Both of them are Stunnning!

We are staying home and grocery shopping every 7-10 days...well, Al is! He won't let me leave the house except for walks, as '
i have a bit of a history of getting everything that goes round. Yep, iIam the one that always gets the rare side effects of things.
So, we are taking no chance. He is the hunter gatherer and I am the disinfectant wielder, wiping all tins and packages before they enter the house. We were just leaving items in the papar bags for 72 hours and only putting refridgerated products away after being wiped down. Then we read that 17 days after those two cruise ships with all the cases of COVID19 were tested, and metal surfaces 17 days later still had the virus. Now, we are wiping everything down on the porch and then bleaching the metal table we use, with a 10% solution! A lot of work, but better to be safe than sorry.

Thanks for taking part in the March Rudolph Days Challenge.

Two beautiful cards Sally. I know what you mean about the stock pilers, tried getting eggs the other day as Sainburys didn't have an egg in sight (except the chocolate sort) ended up at the local post office where I was charged £3.50 for ten which is more than I normally pay but it was a small post office. Then I read on our local FB page today that someone was charged £5.00 for a dozen. If only people would be sensible.

Keep safe and well.

Love both designs.
Good job we have technology, and craft to keep us company in these dark times.

The glitter glue and liquid pearls add a lovely touch of dimension on these beautiful holiday cards! Like Mo, I like how the two cards look so different just by using different colours and papers. I always like plaid for Christmas cards. Thank you so much for playing along with the Rudolph Days Challenge.
