Men and Boys (and anyone who likes insects)

The challenge over at Allsorts this week is to create something for Men and Boys. I picked up some 'Tool' stamps from PDA a few weeks ago (never heard of them before) and thought I would try them out. Here are the results...
As a continuation of my stamping on fabric and adding embroidery, I decorated a small notebook cover. The paint I used is irridescent so it shines nicely when you tilt it.
I also made a card using a cosmic shimmer paint palette and distress oxides on the base card, then made a second note book
I hope you like them. Thanks for looking!

I'm not too keen on bugs myself Sally but you have made a wonderful job of colouring them on the fabric, and love your two notebooks, and the card with the pretty ferns in the background. I think I prefer the stamped variety rather than the real life versions..lol. I do recognise the stag beetle and the cockroach, but am not totally sure what the first one is.

Well Sally these are really lovely creations, great backgrounds and lovely colouring, I have thought of a sentiment for you.
You Bug Me, don't know who you will use it for but, just as idea.

Hi Sally

I love all your fabric work, it's really clever. Combining papercraft with other things, I like that idea. I've been having a play with painting but have to include stamping and all sorts of other stuff. We are just obsesses aren't we, which is a good thing to be at the moment. Hope you are all doing ok. Have you got Meg and her chap at home? We will definitely meet up when all this is over. One thing it's teaching us is not to put things off isn't it.
Take care my friend
Love Lisa

My you have been busy Sally, I just wish I could even get my head into craft, the only thing that benefited recently it's a bin. These are perfect masculine creations and I specially like the texture you've drawn in, many thanks for joining in with our men and boys theme at Allsorts challenge this week.
