A Dandedaisy card

Hi There! I thought I would show you how I made this card today.

I began by blending some Mustard Seed Distress Ink onto a 14cm square piece of smooth white card.
Next I stamped the script background stamp over the whole panel also with Mustard Seed Distress Ink.
I inked up a section of the Bakewell Big One Inkable using Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide ink. I then spritzed it with water and laid it onto the background. I dried it using a heat tool then repeated this step to add ink to the lower section of the card panel.
On a separate piece of card I stamped the largest Dandedaisy and painted it using the same distress and distress oxide inks and a little water. Once dry I cut it out.
After sponging more Charted Mariner ink around the edge, I added the panel to the front of a 15cm square card. I stamped the sentiment in the yellow section of the card using Memento clair ink.
Finally I added the dandedaisy on 3d foam pads  onto the card.

I used:
Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide ink
Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink
15cm square white base card
14cm square of white smooth card

I will be live this evening at 8pm over on the bee Craft Facebook page. I hope you can join me!

A quick card in Pastel colours

Hi There! I am here with a quick and simple card for you today.

I began by adding masking tape about a third of the way across a 5x5" card blank, then blending speckled egg distress ink through the inkable big one, but not up to the edge of the card.
Next I used the mandala inkable and blended kitsch flamingo Distress Oxide ink through it
on a separate scrap of card I stamped the smaller dandedaisy in memento ink and coloured with alcohol markers.
I stuck this to the card along the area where the tape was.
I stamped the sentiment using second generation Fantasia Versafine Clair ink.
Finally I added some more stamping using the worker stamps from Journaling Essentials #4 and Speckled egg distress ink. I also added spots of gold liquid pearls around the mandala.

Here is the finished card again.
I used:
5x5" white card blank
Masking tape
Distress oxide ink - Kitsch Flamingo
Memento Black ink

Thanks for looking! I will be live at 8pm this evening over on the Bee Crafty Facebook Page. I would love to see you there!

A hot dandedaisy

Hi There! Has it been warm enough for you?! I have to admit I have wilted a bit over the weekend. With the end of the month a few days away, I thought I would show you how I made this card with it's hot colours (Just like the Bee Crafty Facebook Group challenge theme!).

I began by blending Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, and Mustard Seed distress ink over some smooth white card.
Next, I stamped the 'rainbows' and the circles from Journaling Essentials #1 in Versafine Clair Black ink.
I added some more Picked Raspberry ink through the dinkable over the background and set aside.
On a scrap of mixed media paper I stamped the largest Dandedaisy in black ink and cut it out.
I smooshed the flower with the purple and pink ink, then added a few spots of Mustard Seed to the centre using a paint brush
I matted and layered the background onto a 6x6 card blank, adding the flower using foam pads and a wordy sticker for a sentiment
Here is the finished card again.
I used:
Distress inks in Picked Raspberry, Mustard seed and Wilted Violet
6x6 blank card
Black paper for matting and layering
Smooth white card stock

The blending brushes I used for this are new ones. I have to say I am very impressed with them so far. Thanks for looking!
