Moonlight and snowflakes

Good Morning! I am here with a step by step tutorial for this card.

I began by stamping the moon in shaded lilac distress ink onto a 14cm square of white card.
Next I blended distress inks around the moon getting gradually darker.
I added some ground with a skylines inkable in the foreground using black soot distress ink. I also sponged a little around the edge. I gave this background a light spray with water and dried it thoroughly
Next I used an anti static cloth across the card. I then stamped and embossed in white randomly around the page using the snowflake from winter journaling girl Cosy
I stamped Cosy onto the background where I wanted her and also onto a piece of white card.
I coloured her with ecoline pens and cut her out.
After sticking her to the panel over the stamped image with matte medium, I added a few white pen highlights.
I stamped the spots from the same stamp set in spun sugar and shaded lilac around the edge of a 15cm square card
I attached the panel to the card and added a sentiment from winter small words using white ink and embossing powder. I added a few smaller snowflakes from the small words stamp set in just white ink too

Here is the finished card again.
I used:
Birds and Moons stamp set ( there is a moon on the conch shell set too)
Distress inks in Shaded Lilac, Spun Sugar, Wilted violet and Black soot
Versamark ink

Absolutely Conkers!

Hi There! It is very definitely Autumn, so I've had a little seasonal play in my journal. Here's how it came together.

I began by blending some spiced marmalade and peeled paint distress oxide ink around the edges of a double page in my Dylusions mini journal.
Next I used the 'into the woods' inkable to add a bit more of the same inks.
I mixed a little Pretty gets gritty explosion powder with some water and splattered it onto the page.
Next I stamped some of the worker stamps from the Doodle Art ladybird set around the page.
I sponged a little ground espresso around the edges of the pages and along a skylines inkable at the bottom.
On a scrap of card I stamped the Warm Winter journaling girl, coloured her in and cut her out cutting her curls off.
I also stamped her directly onto the journaling page (you only need the outline and her hair, so don't worry if it isn't perfect )
I stuck the coloured image over the image stamped on the page using matte medium.
Finally I selected three stickers that I liked from the Autumn wordy stickers and added them to the page. I also added a few white pen highlights.

Here's the finished page again. The more I look at it the more I think it needs a mushroom or three, lol. Maybe later!
I used:
Distress oxide inks in Spiced Marmalade, Peeled Paint and Ground espresso
A colouring medium (I used alcohol markers)

Warm Winter Woollies Tag

Hi There! I am here with a step by step for this tag and a bit of bold colour to liven up Monday morning!

Here is how I made it.
I took a size 10 Dina Wakely tag and painted it with Dylusions paint in patches of fresh lime, periwinkle blue and blue lagoon. I then realised it would be slightly too long to fit on the journal page in my Dylusions mini journal, so I trimmed 2 cm from the bottom edge.

Next I used the texture border stamps to add some black ink around the edges.
I added some texture circles in unicorn white and twisted citron ink.
I stamped the Warm winter journaling girl onto a scrap of watercolour card and onto the tag. By doing this you can cut off the fiddly bits but still have them on the background. In this case the beautiful curly locks.
I used ecoline pens to colour my girl and cut her out.
I stuck her onto the tag over the stamped image with matte medium.
Next I chose two sentiments from the winter small words set, stamped in versafine onto black card and embossed with fine detail white embossing powder.
I added these to the tag with matte medium too.
Here is the finished tag stuck to a page in my journal....
and here is the double page spread showing the bold background from this week in contrast to the subtle one from last week. Both of these would be great entries into our facebook challenge over in the Bee Crafty Stamps Facebook group, where the theme this month is Stay Subtle or Bee bold, and you can enter up to 3 times!
I used:
Versamark ink
For those of you on Facebook, I will be doing a facebook live tomorrow at 8pm over on the Bee Crafty page making some festive cards, so please do come and join us for a crafty natter and another view of my messy desk, lol!

Bee Crafty Winter Journaling girls for Hochanda

Hello there! Did you manage to Catch the Bee Crafty show on Hochanda last Tuesday? I had great fun making the samples for the Winter journaling girls stamps! Here they are...

First up was an MDF long journal with 'Cosy' on one side and 'Warm' on the other.
Next I made a card using 'Cool' and the snowflake mask background.
This is Warm over a gelli print background with a sentiment from the La Luna range and a fab pop out star
Trying to recreate the Christmas jumper patterns here with some of the smaller stamps, simply embossed in silver on an Aubergine coloured card.
This one is my favourite I think. I used a mixture of Tea Dye Distress ink, Chianti versafine clair and memento in sweet plum and desert sand. The dots are spun sugar Distress stickles and liquid pearls.
Here is 'Warm' in silver embossing powder.
Here is another single layer card with a masked off strip for the sentiment.
this was a fairly boring blue gelli print which I used as a backdrop for the snowflakes stencilled in white gesso. The pop out snowfake is painted in very shimmery paint.
Finally we have Cosy and Cool on MDF with the tree stencil and the popouts

As you can probably tell I had lots of fun with these! If you want to invest in the whole bundle that also includes the winter journaling words, you can find it here

Don't forget the fab new inkables too! They are all here
