Moths and inkables

Hi there! I am here today with a journal spread that starts with inkables, so more inspiration for this month's challenge.

I began by wiping a distress oxide ink pad across the bakewell inkable. I spritzed it with water then laid it onto the pages.
Next I smooshed some Rusty Hinge distress oxide over the top.
When this was dry, I used the small butterfly easy frame innie to add some walnut stain distress oxide ink like a shadow.
On a separate piece of card, I stamped the two middle-sized moths and coloured them using ecoline markers before cutting them out.
I added some stamping using the same inks and the Journal Art Elements 3 stamp set.
Finally I added the moths to the page using matte medium, along with a wordy sticker and a few white pen highlights to the moths.

I used:
Butterfly easy frame - I used the smaller 4" one
Journal Art Elements 3 stamp set available in this bundle
Distress oxide inks - I used Walnut Stain, Mermaid Lagoon and Rusty Hinge
Black versafine Clair ink
Ecoline markers

You have until Sunday Evening to enter the challenge so get those inkables out and have a play x

A sparkly daisy card

Hi There! I have a card for you today incorporating some embossing and some faux bleaching. Here's how I made it.

I began by blending distress inks across a 6x4" piece of satin finish card.

I used a dinkable from set 11 to add a little more of the Mermaid Lagoon ink
Once this was dry, I gave it a wipe with an anti-static cloth before stamping the Doodle Art Daisy in Embossing ink and heat embossing it using white embossing powder.
I painted the daisy with water and lifted the colour using a piece of paper towel. I also gently spattered across the abandoned coral ink and lifted the colour from there too.

using the same distress inks I stamped the border and another worker stamp around the panel.
Using some metallic watercolour paints I added some paler colours to the daisy.
I used the same Dinkable to add ink to two corners of an A5 base card.
I layered the inky panel on to some coordinating paper and added it to the front of the card.
Finally here's a close up of the shimmery paint on the daisy.

I used:
Dinkables - I used set 11
Distress inks - I used Abandoned Coral and Mermaid Lagoon
Embossing Ink
Metallic paints
Satin finish card
A5 base card

Inkables Inspiration

Hi there! I am here with a simple card using stamps and inkables today. As our theme on the Bee Crafty Stamps Facebook group is to use inkables I thought this would provide a little inspiration.  Here's how I made it.

I began by blending rusty Hinge ink through a dinkable to create the background.

Next, I stamped the Doodle Art Cone Flower onto some watercolour paper  using Versafine Clair ink and cut it out. I coloured it using ecoline markers
Using some of the smaller stamps from the Coneflower set I added a little stamping around the edge of the card in Versafine Clair Strawberry ink.
Using the dotty stamp from the set, I added a little more to the background in Rusty Hinge Distress ink.
I added the cone flower on 3d foam pads to the background along with a wordy sticker sentiment. I also added some white pen faux stitching.
Here is the finished card again.
I used:
Rusty Hinge Distress ink
White pen
Ecoline pens
3d foam pads
6x6 card
