I've been inspired by Allsorts!

Here is my entry for this week's Allsorts Challenge where I've take my inspiration from a beautiful bracelet belonging to Emma. The circle of the bracelet and the variety of the butterflies really drew my eye, so hopefully I've done a decent job in interpreting it. The background is stamped with a mixture of Crafty Individuals and graphicus stamps, and the butterfly is from Innovative Stamp Creations. I used bundled sage, tumbled glass and peeled paint distress inks, then embossed with silver over the top. The butterflies I coloured with watercolours and then sprayed with creative colour sprays, attaching to my easel card with 3d glue. I managed to find a few minutes this morning to take a photo of it out in the garden in my skimmia japonica.
I took another inside to try and capture a bit of sheen from the creative colour sprays on the butterflies. Thanks for popping by!
Edit: I've just found out that Emma has chosen this card as one of her top five. Thanks Emma!

Hi Sally

You got to me before I got to you .. .. sorry!!!

Trying hard to have a good crafty blog hopping catch-up but you know what it is like. One blog leads to another and another and another .. LOL!!! So many lovely crafty creations admire out there.

I love your butterfly card and am also envious of you being able to photograph in your garden.

Such a lovely creation and the butterflies are gorgeous - such rich colours.

Can't wait to meet you at the craft event of the year!!!!

Love Jules xx

Morning Sally

A lovley take on the inspiration fo Emma's bracelet.

Lovely vivid colours of the butterflies against that background - bundled sage is my current favourite as well.

Your skimmia jampoica as well ahead compared with ours which is only just showing buds.

Jules refers to some crafting event. Should I know about this ir perhaps even thing of attending ? Never know who I muight see there !

Thanks for sharing tour card with us at Allsorts.

Hi Sally,

Love this card and I think you've made a stunning job of it. I adore butterflies anyway but these are beautiful. Such pretty colours!

BTW I made the same mistake over on Debbie's blog that you did but Happy Birthday to you for next week. We almost have the same birthday (although I wish mine was the same year as you) as mine is next week too.

Hugs

Hi Sally.
Sorry I've not been around this week, getting some crafting done has taken over, you will see why soon!!!!
Anyway, I've just had a lovely catch up with your beautiful creations and love them all as always. The mermaid is really unusual and your memories piece is perfect for the theme in everyway but of course this butterfly Easel is my favourite, who could resist flutterbys and the embossing sets them off perfectly. They look almost real in your garden.
Have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend.
