Meg's concert

Here are a couple of photos from the performance on Sunday that Meg and her friend Sam took part in. They were amazing! There were about 700 people in the concert hall, so just a little nerve racking! I managed with just one tissue and I'm a very proud Mum!
I only have a bit of video at this stage from a rehearsal during last week. The performance on Sunday was even better than this.  The acoustics in the church have made it sound a little strange, but hopefully you will get the idea. The song was the story of a worker bee, and on Sunday the young lady at the front was dressed as a bee for her dance. Meg sings the first verse and chorus and Sam the second.

I can just imagine how you felt Sally.

I can't watch the video at the moment as it's gone midnight and OH is in bed in the room next to where the computer is but I'll be back tomorrow ........ er, make that later today, Lol.

Goodness me Sally, goose pimples at this time in the monring. Amazing stuff.

Anysia said Megan must have been so nervous, she was part of a small choir for their concern in Church last year and she said that was nerve racking. So solo is rea; scary in her view.

Congratulations to Megan and you for helping save the planet with just the one tissue.

I have listened to Megan and really enjoyed her voice, then Bobby got in on it and he's listened 3 times now and loves it. I think your daughter has her first fan even though he's only 4.
Happy crafting

Well done Sal for not flooding out the Concert Hall and I'm sure Megs did a wonderful job on the night. All three of us are in agreement that Megs has a good voice for folk songs, this one reminding me of 'She Moves Through The Fair' for some reason.

Amazing voices Sally, they must have sounded fantastic IRL. Love your dragon and the great celtic background.

Didn't she do well? It's fantastic, Sally. I bet you were ever so proud. I used to sing like that, so it helps me see just how proud my Mum must have been, now that I'm older, lol. Good on her! Meg's a little cracker :)
