A couple of baby cards using snippets

It has been a while since I made any baby cards, but knowing four people who are pregnant I thought I would get some practice in!

I have made a girl and a boy card, both with snippets for Di's crafty snippet challenge. Sorry about the awful photo on the second. The digi images came from Squigglefly and were coloured with promarkers. Thanks for looking!

Morning Sally

Tis I, direct from the beachside of the Fens.

Is it just me or is it rather sad that part of the excitement of giving birth is taken away by knowing the sex of the baby long before it arrives ?

I can see the practicality for planning, but don't think I would have wanted to know even if it was an option in the dark ages when most of my bunch came along.

Both cards are very pretty though.

Take care where you sit at school won't you.

Brilliant baby makes. Good idea to have some of this type of card to hand, especially as you know so many mothers-to-be!

Fancy a whirl on the roundabout now? xxx

These are fab Sally! I really like the grid background of the first - I've been seeing this around blogland lately and it's so effective. Vicky x

Love the patchwork effect - lovely cards. I guess babies are like buses - you wait for one for ages, then several come along at once! Good idea to stock up on baby cards.

These are adorable! Love those little ones and don't we always put our little ones on quilts.
