This week is the last week to enter the Craft a Scene Challenge for May where the theme is Spring flowers, so I thought it was time to get my skates on! I managed to catch a few minutes of Deby from Inkylicious on C&C this afternoon and was inspired to create this:
All of the stamps are from Inkylicious, although I spotted a few more I will be investing in very soon! I used a range of Adirondack inks, my ink dusters, some stickles and a ribbon. The die used to cut the main panel was from Go Kreate. This photo looks a bit bright, taken outside, but the colours are more lifelike than the one taken in the shade.
See for yourself
Too much blue, but take some out and the green goes yellow. Light can be a pain! Here is a close up to show the detail on those stamps.
I hope you have enjoyed the sunshine. I finished my marking and enjoyed a bit of time in the garden too. Thanks for looking and I hope you have a good week.

Wonderful colouring Sally, and what a beautiful scene you've created. The close-up really highlights the colours in all their glory. I agree with your "light" comment - taking a perfect photo is not an easy thing to do!
Have a fabulous week - Sylvia x

This is beautiful Sally, a really gentle picture. I know just what you mean about the light, I've tried in different places, at different times of day and it's all a matter of luck for me if they turn out ok. At least they've stayed dry today lol.
Thanks for directing me to Sir Stampalot, I'll pop over there now x
I love the colour and the way you have put the card together to make a gorgeous card.
This is so pretty and fresh, it says 'spring' perfectly! Love your colouring and the way you did the card itself to tie everything together :)
I know I say it all the time but I do love your scene cards and this one is another stunner!
I forgot that Deby was on, I'd meant to record the show. Your card is stunning, with lovely spring colours. I agree sunlight can be such a pain when trying to get a good photo.

Sally, it is a perfect scene! I really like the dimension you gave the scene with your hills, moon/sun and the flowers in the foreground - great perspective. Thanks for joining us at Craft a Scene. NancyD
