A couple of quick Chrsitmas cards

I caught a few minutes of Kay from Indigo Blu on C&C on Saturday, and was inspired to get my flitterglu and flakes out. I used a tree stamp from Chocolate Baroque with the flakes - Brighton Pier first...
Then with Morris dance, and both on navy paper. I used my rollergraph holly wheel with Night Sky Versamagic down the side and added a greeting from Craftwork cards.
I managed to take these in daylight, but the light wasn't great, so you can see the gilding but the colour of the paper is lost. I will definitely be using my gilding flakes for more Christmas cards, and trees of course!
Well, It is short and sweet tonight - got lots to do for work at the moment.
Thanks for looking!

These are lovely Sally. I was watching Kay whilst ironing on Saturday (amazing how much you can get through when not really thinking about it, lol) and must admit it made me want to get my flakes out to play too.

I've only made two Christmas cards so far so I think I might have to borrow (you can have it back when I've finished, lol) your idea because these look really luxurious with the flakes.

I know what you mean about taking photos. It's been so dark and dreary again all day :0(

Superb on the navy - just a bit different with colour & beautiful with the gilding. Aren't trees so so versatile?
Take care with all the seasonal preps.

Hi Sal

Those trees look fabulous all "flaked up".

I really to need to get some flitter glue I think!!

Our roads are much better today. The A38 is actually open (at the moment anyway) so hubby has had a much better journey this morning.

Love Jules xx
