Winter Scenes at Craft a Scene

Hi There
At Craft a Scene this month our theme is Winter Scenes, and for my mid month post I have create a scene using Lindsay Mason's Build a Snowy Scene set from Personal Impressions.
I stamped the scene first in Memento Black and then masked off the lower part of the card whilst I used my ink dusters on the sky. I added colour to the foreground images with promarkers and then added a bit of shading with my ink dusters and some blue ink. Finally I added a bit of sparkle with diamond stickles.
You still have another week left to make those snowy scenes and join us. Pop over to the challenge blog to see some more of my teamies wonderful creations! Looking forward to visiting you.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Penny Black and More - It's your Choice
Stamping for the weekend - Let it snow
Thanks for looking!

What a wonderful card, love the scene and your colouring, I could be there, no I couldn't I'm not cold enough LOL.

Caught up on everything, hope it won't be as long next time!

I know I say it a lot but I do love your scene cards - wonderfully created.

That owl is gorgeous & I love your snowy shading. The cottage with those trees really reminds me of the scenery in Scandinavia too - you've really captured the barrenness of the pine forest terrain with the winter sun.

You already know how much I admire this card Sally, but no harm in saying it again.

Hi Sally. sorry to have been such a poor visitor lately. I have just been going back through your posts and realised how many I've missed. It's that time of year when there are so many things going on, blogging takes a back seat I'm afraid.
I hope you are feeling better after your bug, there are so many around at the minute. We are keeping everything crossed that they stay away for the festive period!!
Your cards are all beautiful as always. I've admired each and every one. Apart from Christmas cards I've been busy making pressies, as always it's last minute. When will I ever learn!!!
Have you broken up yet? Ours finish on Friday so it's school right up to the big day almost!
Hope you have a good week whatever you are up too.
Hugs Lisax
