I hope you have managed to stay cool enough this weekend. I have spent a good part of yesterday and a bit of today at Gedling Book festival. It was brilliant! Meg was volunteering there, so I thought I would pop over and see what was happening. I sat in on four talks/ workshops. They were in Marquees with a through draught, so perfect for the weather! Anyway, this hot weather has brought the flowers out on my pot marjoram and shasta daisies, so I thought I would share a couple of photos.
I also had a couple of cards to make, one for a colleague going on maternity leave...
I coloured the Mo manning image with promarkers, cut out with a nestie and mounted on some polkadot paper from Pink Petticoat. The sentiment is from Inkylicious.
My second card was one that I really didn't know what to put on it. I eventually settled on this for a chap who has been covering my class each Wednesday whilst I do management stuff (Technical term, that!). I used Kaleidacolor fresh greens and stamps from Inkylicious. It took me all of 10 minutes, tops!
Finally I promised Candy. This is the first of several I think. I am having a clear out and getting rid of things I don't use. First up is a bunch of 7 Molly Blooms stamps that have been used once or never. They are not to my taste at all, but I was asked to make a couple of cards to promote them some time ago.
It seems sensible to let them go to a good home. Leave a message below if you are interested and a follower. There will be some more follower candy soon.
Thanks for looking!

Two beautiful cards Sally, I love the leaf one with the shades of green. I really like the Mo Manning pregnant lady as well, and it's a great idea for someone having a baby.
Thank you for your kind words you left on my blog earlier.

Your green leaf card really caught my eye. A CAS style card but so effective. Nice maternity card too. Thanks for the chance to win some stamps. These would certainly add to my small collection.

Your garden flowers are lovely. My daisies have died out. Think the drought got to them last year.
Thanks for a chance at the follower candy!
Fab image for a maternity leave card Sally, but I love your leaf card, beautiful:) I expect you are on a holiday countdown!

Lovely photos of your flowers - love Shasta daisies. Your cards are both super - I particularly like the one with the leaves but the Mo Manning image on the first is beautifully coloured. Please count me out for the candy - lovely as Molly Blooms are they are not my style either :) Elizabeth xx
Beautifull flower photos , great cards and lovely candy, I love them all!!
Greetings

Love the look of those skeleton leaves & perfect for a gentleman....... Your daisies are a real treasure - one of my favourite flowers & just look at the lovely white/yellow combination. Please don't include me in the Molly Blooms, not really my flavour either.

I love the leaf card - just my colours!!
I'd love to try some of your Molly Bloom stamps!
Gorgeous photos of your flowers, and pretty flowers too. I loved your maternity card, especially liked the S/B to frame the sweet image. But the leaf one was my fav. So cool & fresh, & perfect for a guy. Would love to share in the candy scramble, but way too cost prohibitive to ship to me if I won it! So thanks for the chance & good luck to whomever gets the prize. Some very cute images in the bundle. TFS
Beautiful flower photos and card.
