A Bluebell Walk
On Sunday we went for a stroll around Bunny Old Wood, famous for it's bluebells in Nottinghamshire. Here are a few photos, some by me and some by Meg.
As well as bluebells there were lots more wild flowers.
Red Campion,
Greater Stitchwort
and Arum Lilies.
The hawthorn hedges were dripping with blossom too. Thanks for looking!

I delight in photos like these - they're superb. I can't identify wild flowers very well so I'm really impressed.
We have a bank & a plateau of bluebells in our woodland which have been quite spectacular this year. It looks like you had a lovely time.

My bluebells (blue and white as well) are just in full bloom now. We have had such a lack of sun and an overabundance of rain this year!

What a beautiful walk! I remember the bluebells you showed us last year. This year is beautiful as well - somehow nature never disappoints us!
I love your photos Sally, it's a walk down memory Lane for me looking at an English woodland, although the bluebells are flowering just as well here in Ireland after such a mild Winter and Spring. We used to call the red campion "Ragged Robin". As well as the bluebells here, I've never seen as much wild garlic in flower and that just makes you feel hungry lol! Maddy x
