A bit of Inkyness

Have you seen the Inkylicious You Tube channel? You can find it here. If you haven't watched it yet, do take a look at the demo Deby does with the Ink Duster starter kit.  I watched Deby's demo using just 4 ink pads to create so many different skies and had to have a go! The ink pads in question are all Memento - Dandelion, Rosebud, Danube Blue and Tuxedo Black. I also used the picture perfect stamps that come in the Ink Duster starter kit. My first was very much like the one Deby creates in the video.
I also used the 'For You' stamp set for the sentiment. There are lots of interchangeable greetings to put with the For you stamp. Next I thought I would go a little darker and larger, and was quite pleased with the result!
The birds and grasses are from the Picture Perfect set again. I also used some leaves from Flight of Dreams and the new twiggy branch that will be on the website soon

My last card has a background made with the same colours as mentioned above, but I used different colours to stamp with. This time I used the thistle (another new stamp), grass from the wild meadow set, Tree from Simply trees and sentiment from Flight of Dreams.  I also used memento inks in Lilac posies, olive grove and espresso truffle for the stamping. I have just realised what is missing from this one - birds! I think I have been inspired by all those welsh hills ;)
Thanks for looking!

Oh wow Sally! Absolutely beautiful work. And you reminded me that I have some never been used Inkylicious stamps here. Plus, there's one of the mountains and valleys templates hidden away in the Playground toy box :)

Then I hopped on to check the video and also found some made by you. Great stuff!

Hugs, Di xx

Gorgeous cards Sally, already pinned to my Inky Magic board for inspiration. I have the scenic stamps from a recent order and was about to ink them this week for a birthday card so this post is perfectly timed for me. Thank you for the link to Deby's video, although I have watched her IRL at Ally Pally several times, I always feel there is something to learn. Great work and great inspiration, thank you! Elaine x

Wow!!! They are all gorgeous Sally, I have to admit I like using the brushes better than pads!I can't seem to get it to blended well with pads.
These are all so beautifully inked though.
