Things with Wings at Stamping Sensations

Good Morning and it is time for another challenge over at Stamping Sensations. Our theme this month is Things with Wings. I chose dragonflies for my cards this month.
My first card features a new stamp from Inkylicious called Dragonfly bookplate. I coloured it with distress markers and dusted around the edges in grey flannel memento ink. I then used a clear stardust gellyroll pen to go over the dragonflies.
you can just about see it in this photo. My Second card was made with Crafty Individuals stamps, again coloured with distress markers. The background was dusted with tumbled glass and broken china distress ink
Our prize this month is donated by Crafty Devils.

£35 worth of goodies - how good is that!
I do hope you will join in the challenge this month and I look forward to seeing your lovely stamped creations. Pop over to the challenge blog to see the wonderful creations by my very talented teamies and to remind yourselves of the rules.
Thanks for looking!

Just beautiful Sal, he soft subtle colours really work well with the new dragonfly background stamp. And the design with the little teal corners really draws the eye to the focal element.

Hope you have a lovely Sunday.

Two lovely cards sally. I love the dragonfly stamp in the first one, and the pretty die cut centre in the second makes a perfect frame for the CI stamp.

Two beautiful cards Sally love all the script on that first card and the way you frame the corners gives so much depth to it :-D love the stamped background on your 2nd card and the way the flowers frame the dragonfly image.

What is it about dragonflies that we like them so much? Beautiful cards, Sally!

They are both beautiful Sally and both created with lovely stamps. I don't normally like dragonflies, tell you why in a mo, but I do love the top one - a real stunner.
It's not the dragonflies fault that I saw a nature documentary on how they were born - I hate terror/horror movies and the way they hatched reminded me of the first Alien which blooming terrified me and since then I've gone off of dragonflies lol! Hope you're having a lovely week Karen x
