More scenic hills

Here is a card I made a little while ago, and forgot I hadn't posted it. I was quite pleased with the colours. The stamps are all from Inkylicious and I used adirondack inks in lettuce, citrus, eggplant, peach bellini denim and espresso. the sentiment is stamped in memento Danube blue.
I don't know what the weather has been like near you, but we have had quite a bit of rain here. Twenty eight 5 year olds who haven't been outside all day can be a bit lively by the time home time arrives! Tomorrow we are taking them to Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire for the day, which we are really looking forward to. Keep your fingers crossed that the weather improves and we can get out in the gardens for an hour in the afternoon!
Thanks for looking!

  2. A gorgeous card Sally, and a beautiful scene. I remember from my days as a dinnerlady and a beaver leader what 5/6 year olds are like when they've not been out all day, you teachers deserve a medel. I hope the weather is kind to you tomorrow and you all have a wonderful day.

  3. Beautiful scenic card Sally!

Enjoy Hardwick Hall, lovely place and often visited when I lived 'oop North' and we caravanned down to Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire. Clumber Park or Chatsworth were favourite sites.

Wasn't Hardwick Hall one of the first/largest buildings in England to have glazed windows - or did I dream that one? Could see it from the motorway when I used to travel up and down the UK - lucky you!

  8. Lovely Card Sally. Well the sun is shining here so hope it is with you today. We visited Hardwick Hall a few years ago on the coldest day of that year and we nearly froze to death! Still thought it was a fabulous place . I wouldnt begin to cope with a group of five year olds, my idea of nightmare LOL.

  11. I can see why you are pleased with the colors - they are lovely.
Could you send us some of your rain? I know it sounds odd, but I'm a bit tired of the hot weather here. We had two days of a little bit of rain and cooler temperatures, now we're back to hot. It's October for Pete's sake!

  12. Love the different colors in your scene. So soothing, as always. Not at all like 28 5-year old who have been cooped up all day!!!!
