One of the stamps I bought was this one, which I have used to create three cards for Scrappy Mo's Rudolf days this month.
First up I used wow brass embossing powder on burgundy card...
Finally I tried flitter glu and flake again, but managed to get a smudge of something on the card and it looked a mess. I decided to cover it in different colour sprays including sparkly ones to cover the mess and create this one...
Do pop over to Scrappy Mo's and take a look at the fab inspiration and prize. Not sure if I will manage to join in next month - might be without computer (still on XP here), but I will try and do extra for August if I don't join in.
I will leave you with a few photos of the birds in my garden.
Goldfinches...
Love this one!!!
A great tit...
and a very noisy baby starling taken by Meg - he was so loud he woke her up!
Thanks for looking.

Ooooooh - love this elegant Christmas stamp Sally - the three results are so different, but equally fabulous!
Love your sweet bird photos too - what amazing close-ups. Thanks for sharing!

Gorgeous cards, Sally, although your experiments with flitter glu sound much like mine - in fact I usually end up with more on me than the card!
Love the bird photos, especially the cheeky finch & the baby:-)

What a gorgeous stamp Sally, I love the cards you've made with it. A great rescue job on the third card, and useful to know that the flakes will act as a resist. My favourite card is the first though, I love the gold embossing on the burgundy card, so elegant and classy.
Your photos of the birds are brilliant, so sharp and clear. thank you for sharing them.

Your cards are spectacular, Sally, but those bird shots stole the show! I've been mesmerized by them!! Happy Rudolph Day! Hugs, Darnell
Oh what wonderful card designs Sally and love the cute pictures of the birds.

Wow, so classy and elegant Sally. The stamp is gorgeous and you've done a wonderful job with all three cards. I would really struggle to choose a favourite x
Love the cards, and the bird photos too.... I'm still on XP too, what's happening??
Wow...the bird photos are fabulous. Such gorgeous colours and crisp photos!
Your cards look fab. I am always afraid to try embossing powders but since i got the little bag of talc stuff, I seem to get less flyaways smudging my cards.
Your look so gorgeous. Love all three!
Thanks for taking part in the June Rudolph Days Challenge.fabullus
Wow love the different effects they are all fab. Great bird pics too.

Three gorgeous card Sally, I can see why you bought this stamp. Can't say that I've really looked at Honey Doo Crafts before either, but I can see that I must. I love the wonderful pictures you've managed to take in your garden.

I see you've put that GORGEOUS stamp to excellent use Sally! LOVE all three cards. I've closed the Honeydoo link now . . . for fear of bankruptcy!
Your bird photo's are fantastic too.

Sorry to have inadvertently been such an 'enabler' Sally, lol! I'm hankering after some of the spotty ones! Loving the cards you've made with that beautiful Christmas flourish and no-one would know the last one was a rescue job!
Your photos of the birds are wonderful and I'm so glad you share them with us.
Hugs

3 simply stunning cards. #1 looks so rich & elegant with the shade of emboss powder against that burgundy. Loved the flitter glu & leaf flakes. I finally got some flitter & flakes, but not had the time (or the courage) to try it yet. Yours looks super. Great idea on #3 to use the sprays to mask the boo-boo (which I didn't see!). Really enjoyed seeing the garden birds. That is one cheeky little guy facing the camera. Your photography skills wow me as much as your cardmaking expertise!!! TFS & Happy wkend. Hugs
Your cards are gorgeous and a great example of how many different ways one stamp can be used. As for that baby starling, he is absolutely adorable, despite the racket he must have been making!

What a gorgeous stamp that is, I really live the brass version.
That's for sharing your birdies too, I don't get the goldfinches inscotland but I usually see them when we are in France as well as bullfinchs.

Naughty Lesley leading you astray! This is a lovely stamp and great to see such different effects with it. You bird photos are smashing. You can almost hear the sound of that little starling! You keep reminding me all my good intentions to keep up with Christmas cards are coming to nothing at the moment! Elaine x

Back again , I forgot to say the Christmas cards are beautiful, very elegant. I have a few Honeydoo stamps and they are such good quality
I love using the flakes, not tried as a resist so must do that. Your cards are all brilliant. Love the bird pictures especially that last one.
