Rudolf Day for September

Who stole September then?! Where did that go? I can't believe it will be October next week! Let me tell you about my cards for Rudolf day this month. I fell in love with the latest tree stamps from Inkylicious and had to have them before Stamp Magic. As soon as they arrived I whipped them out of the packets and set to work. My first card uses the set Midnight trees A7 with fence posts, A moon stencil and memento inks. I made the shadows of the trees by swishing a damp paint brush below the stamped image. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards
My second card is a digi stamp (not sure if it is still online, but it was a freebie from Cuddly Buddly). I coloured it with Be Creative Alcohol markers and mounted using coordinating scraps. I used snippets on both cards so as well as Scrappy Mo's Rudolf days I will take these to Miss Di's snippet playground too.
I do want to apologise for not getting round to visiting your blogs as much as I would like. This term is very busy so far, but I am hoping it will calm down soon. I have a lovely class of 31 5 year olds, but it is very tiring. Thanks so much for your lovely comments. I hope to catch up soon!
Thanks for looking!

Two gorgeous cards Sally. The Snowman is so adorable and you've coloured him just perfectly. Your first card with the Midnight Trees is an absolute stunner. I love the colours that you've used and you've done a wonderful job with the fence. Enjoy your Sunday rest! Sandra x

What a contrast in styles between the two cards, but both gorgeous! The first one is particularly stunning, I can see why you couldn't resist the tree stamps and you've created a lovely peaceful scene with them

Love both your cards Sally but especially the first one. Your scenic cards always blow me away!

As for blog commenting....my grandkids wear me out so I'd be on my knees with 31 children. Well done you for even managing to make some cards.

Two beautiful card. The first is a wonderful winter landscape. Such as how he misses the summer, but winter does not want to such snow drifts;-) But on Christmas card looks delicious :-))

Oh Sal, 31 five year old, you do have my sympathy indeed!! Had 38 second class one year, that was bad enough, but five year olds they're hard work!
Love both your cards and so pretty. The White card used on snowman card looks interesting, lovely texture indeed,

Fabulous cards Sally, and I do admire you for cracking on with Christmas, it will take me by surprise again as usual this year lol. Good luck with your class this year! xx

Gosh you deserve a medal with all those 5year olds to look after, I was tired out after one morning with one very independent nearly 4year old last week. Needless to say we had a very messy painting session.
Your cards are both lovely, I like the jolly snowman and the winter scene in the first card is gorgeous.

Two beautiful cards. I am in awe over your inky skills. I always love your inky cards. I have been playing around with inks lately but have not yet finished a card that I am satisfied with!

Your first is so calm and serene looking...a beautiful scene.

The second is so very lighthearted and adorable. A very cute snowman indeed!
