A bit more Autumn

It's the weekend and finally I've found the time to post. Here is a card featuring a 'Stampin' up!' set called Touch of Nature, that they have now discontinued.
All stamps are from the set except for 'Old French Writing' (Hero Arts) used on the base card. The bird and branches were stamped, coloured with promarkers and then embossed after colouring over with versamarker. The background stamping and shading was with a variety of distress inks, as was the leafy part of the base card. I'm entering this one into the Lot's to do challenge this week where the theme is autumn colours.
Next is a birthday card for one of Meg's friends who has the nickname 'Wolfie' so I thought the husky/ wolf image from Clarity Stamps would make an ideal card.
Both of these cards are very much in the style of Michelle Zindorf. If you have never visited her blog or looked at her tutorials please do. She is one extremely talented lady!

Wow, these are both stunners, Sally. I've just discovered Stampin Up and am looking forward to using their products.
Your wolf is gorgeous. What a great touch to make it so personal. You've really made Michelle's style your own.
Hope you are having a good weekend.

Hi Sally,
These are really gorgeous. I have to say I love your wolf one the best, stunning.

I am paying as a present for christmas, for my hubby to have a pair of wolves tattooed on his arm with my name under in a scroll for christmas. I picked the wolves as they are my favourite animal and they mate for life, thats why they'll be a pair. And he wants to put my name on.
So I shall have to seek this stamp out, it's gorgeous.

Have a good weekend
Happy crafting

And pleased to see Hero H2365 has made an appearance - I know I am totally sad. Mind you, it's a very old stamp and I have yet to rememebr the code of the re-issue version.

And they're both beautiful, but I particularly like the shading in the top one - gorgeous. Beginning to understand now why you don't get much time to stamp when you're working. In fact, don't know how you find any at all! Nice to have a little bit of bloghopping time, lol.

Stunning cards Sally - love the rich colours, particularly on the bird scene - that really is a beauty! The Wolf image is fabulous, and I'm thinking it would make a great man's card (I find men's card ideas rather difficult to come up with)!

I love both of these cards, the colors you use are just gorgeous. I have to say that I favor the wolf card a little bit - I'm a complete wolf fan and will never forget the very first howling of a wolf pack I heard a few years ago. Your wolf is so precious!

These are both stunners Sally. The colours are wonderful. I do like the little bird one best but that's only because I've had a bit of a bird thing going on myself recently, Lol!
