Dad's Birthday

It is my Dad's birthday in early February, so as I had the inspiration I made him this.
The main image is Winter Scene from Simply stamps, coloured with promarkers and a little glitter. The boots stamp is from an Aspects of design sheet from the Stampman. I stamped it on to water colour paper and coloured it with distress inks. The swirl background on the brown bazzil is from Art impressions, and was stamped in versafine and then embossed in clear. Finally the sentiment is a See-D's stamp. As it is a theme of Male cards this week at Allsorts I'm entering it into their challenge. Now I need to get on with Steve's card, as his birthday is tomorrow! Thanks for looking!

  2. Superb "male" card Sally - love those walking boots and the stamped background. The winter scene is beautiful (though we don't want any more white fluffy stuff this year)!! Early Happy Birthday to your Dad!

  6. Hi Sally. That's a gorgeous chilly card for your Dad, I love the walking boots. It looks like he's already walked through his card with the footprints. Love it.
Happy Birthday to him and also to Steve today. I hope you're spoiling him.
