The challenge for January at a Heck of a challenge is Thank you, so I thought I would enter these two cards that I made a couple of weeks ago. The first uses stamps from Inkylicious and white embossing powder. The Distress inks I used were bundled sage, dried marigold and spun sugar on silk art card.
My second card is a Chocolate Baroque image, coloured with Distress markers and mounted on a piece of card that was embossed and dusted with tea dye DI.
Hope you are warm and cosy and the snow isn't affecting you too much. I was on a course today (Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling), but the people who were running it were very flexible so we opted for a shorter lunch and to not have a tea break in the afternoon and we rattled through and finished three quarters of an hour early. I was home about the time school would be finishing. So far nowhere near as much snow as was originally thought here. How about you? I am hoping to take my Dad his shopping tomorrow, so I hope it doesn't snow any more until I get back.
I am keeping my follower candy open until I have the chance to pop out to a craft shop and get a few bits and bobs. I have a few bits, but they are mostly cute, and some of you don't do cute. When I have been I will post a picture.
Thanks for looking!
P.S. Anyone else had a problem with their blog background disappearing completely and not going back on? I have ended up using a different template. Didn't want to, but I suppose it will have to do.

Great cards Sally, they are very pretty. I love the chocolate baroque image and you have coloured it beautifully! X
Really beautiful cards Sally and I love the image on the second one - just gorgeous.
Lots of snow here as it's been falling all day and only stopped a short time ago.
Sorry you've had blogger problems, never had that myself thank goodness!
Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs, Fliss xx
Two lovely cards Sally, I love the first card with those gorgeous muted colours and the flower stamp on the 2nd card is wonderful, so beautifully coloured:) Too long a sentence I fear! Blogging makes me very lazy, which is naughty considering I spent half my working life moderating key skills:)

btw we have 3" of snow here's hoping that's it!
Beautiful cards Sally....fabulous image and great details.xxx
Beautiful cards, as always, Sally. I love the first one a lot, those filigran flowers look so good "cut up".
I also very much like the background of your blog - awesome.
super cards Sally....love the subtle colours on the first one especially.
These are both beautiful Sally. I love the muted colours of the first one and the way you have broken up the images. The deeper colours on the second card are also lovely and the embossed background looks gorgeous. I love your colouring of the CB image. I have to admit I can't quite get the hang of the Distress Markers for some reason but you certainly have.
Hugs
