Butterflies and flowers

I made it to Mrs A's first Butterfly Challenge just in time! I made a monochromatic card using the Inkylicious Daisy fields stamps, A hero Arts butterfly and a sentiment from Inkylicious. The inks are Shaded lilac Distress ink and Memento Grape Jelly. As the matte and layers and butterfly are all made from snippets I am also taking this to the snippet playground. I am also entering this into Brenda's 5th Bloggerversary draw  where she asks us to use our favourite craft item. Mine is definitely my ink dusters, which I used here to get the lightly shaded and graduated background. I know Brenda loves her butterflies too, so I am sure she will like this one.
Here is a closer view of the butterfly...
I feel the mojo is more or less back to normal now, thank goodness!
Do you want to see what else I have been making?
Feel the calories!!! I made it for one of the Sensei at Karate who gives Meg a lift home from senior class every week, not that we are trying to slow him down or anything, lol! I have offered to make another that we will raffle off to raise funds for trophies and medals, like the one Meg won in December.
As it was half term I have trained at two classes this week and did a karate seminar on Saturday - Five hours of Karate in 3 days. I am pleased to say I can still walk, lol! A few aches and bruises, but nothing serious. I must be fitter than I thought!!!
Thanks for looking and for all your lovely comments.

The cake is spectacular with those decorations & I love the edging of fingers & real authentic KitKats. Your butterfly is wonderful with the little circles of iridescence & i can imagine that he's just wondering which of those lovely flower heads he's going to alight on.

I do indeed love your card Sal and of course the butterfly and the little sparkly dots down it's wings.

Your ink duster work is always seamless and I always feel guilty I don't use mine as often as I should, blame the PP's.

As for that cake, calorie free surely ?

Thanks so much for joining in my blog celebration with your beautiful card.

I know we were going to speak this week but the time seems to have flown by, will chat soon hopefully.

An awesome sponged scene, done with your usual flair. Very soothing color scheme with the lovely flowers, and liked the swirled embossing piece added as a layout detail. That butterfly is gorgeously sparkling and your other creation added some pounds just drooling over the picture. What a lovely daughter you have too. TFS - the card & the other lovely pictures. Hugs

That cake made me gain weight just looking at it! Oh my! That's sure to be a winner.

Your card is a winner too. The big butterfly is so pretty and realistic looking. It could flit its wings at any moment. I love the soft field of flowers and all those lovely butterflies. What a wonderful card! And much less calories than the cake.

I can tell you that your crafting muscles are very fit, Sally! This is such a pretty card with a super stunning butterfly!

It took every ounce of my own strength to talk about your card first. What the heck is the matter with you posting that cake? That is so mean unless you plan on bringing one over to the Playground!!!! Holy cow, that's brilliant! Hugs, Darnell
