My second card features a cute Digi mouse from Digistamp Boutique, coloured in with promarkers and backed on some snippets of digi papers printed out a very long time ago! The papers were from Funky Fairies, and I am sorry to say are no longer available. The circular sentiment is from Little Claire.
As they both use snippets I am also taking them over to Di's snippet playground.
It is Saturday, so I should have been able to photograph them in daylight, but we spent this morning planning a school trip at Rufford Park, then carried on to see my dad this afternoon. It was such a beautiful day, and we really enjoyed the fresh air!
It was sunny and warm, and there were so many birds in the trees. Unfortunately I wasn't quick or talented enough to capture them on my camera!
I think we will have to go again when the bluebells are out, judging by how many are here! We saw 4 or 5 great spotted woodpeckers chasing each other amongst the tree tops and heard the cries of a buzzard overhead too.

Two gorgeous Christmas cards Sally, and well done for getting such a head start. I promised myself I would start making them after the new year, so far nothing. Glad you had a good day out yesterday, and I hope it's fine for your trip later this week.

Beautiful cards, I tell myself to get going, but with it only Spring, can't!!!!. Great layouts too.
Love your pictures, hope you get the bluebells, they would look great in amongst the trees.
Hi Sally,
popped over from the playground to say how very lovely your card is.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Morning Sally . . . thank you for joining in with Rudolph Day with these 2 lovely cards. I particularly like the snowy scene one with the trees - but both of great.
Hugs, Sarn xxx
the colours of the first are absolutely delightful & I love the wintery scene. The second is very different but great fun! It looks like you had a wonderful day - I'm hoping our bluebells will make an appearance this year as there was too much activity & clearing of undergrowth around them last year.

Great pics we love walking and love the countryside most of all..we are fortunate to have both sea and country on our doorstep. Just enjoyed a two hour walk..cold but nice all the same.

Although I am not in a Christmas mood at all I like your cards, especially the first one.
Have a good day with the 60 children "out in the woods"!
Sally, you do those scenes so well, and this one is no exception. Love the way you've got the snowdrifts with the sparkling on the hills. So very pretty. The little mousie was delightful and those snippety mats are so festive & cheery. Two delicious cards ready for next Christmas. TFS the pictures too. Could almost catch the smell of the woods. Hope the weather cooperates for your school field trip. Happy Mother's Day, TFS & Hugs

Such pretty outdoorsy photos. It certainly looked like a nice day for an outing.
Your first card is so soft, serene and shimmery, like a breath of fresh fallen snow (you know, before everyone starts cursing its existence).
Your second card is a sweetie with some great papers. I can see why you mentioned they were retired because I'm sure people will be wanting them. I like that round greeting.
2 beautiful chrimbo cards hunni...i love the soft subtle glittery snowy scene you have created on your first card...
I love the bright and cheeriness of your second card with that adorable image...
hugs and xxx
