After the lovely comments on my last post I thought I would share some more photos of the red squirrels at Eskrigg Nature reserve. These wonderful creatures are rare here in the UK, but well managed nature reserves like Eskrigg help to keep them going. This first photo was the nearest Lynne and I have ever been to a red squirrel (less than 2 foot away!) unfortunately it isn't as sharp as I would have liked - they move so quickly!
They were a joy to watch!
As you may have seen in my last post, this treescape stamp from Inkylicious is great for a very quick Christmas card! This time I decided to make a purple version...
I used memento Grape Jelly and diamond stickles on the snow for this one.
I also made one using Memento Paris Dusk, but this time used my sakura clear stardust pen for the snow...
Thanks for looking!

Hello Sally
Your Christmas cards are fabulous in both colours. I can feel the cold in the air, they remind me so much of a very cold but crisp Winter's day. I love the added touch of diamond stickles.
Wonderful, wonderful pictures, thank you so much for sharing them.

Gorgeous cards as always Sally, I love this treescape stamp and have added it to my wishlist. Great photos of the squirrels, it must have been quite a treat to get so close to them.

Lovely photos Sally and your cards are beautiful, hope you realise you are responsible for the phone call to Inkylicious this afternoon ordering more stamps and inks LOL

Stunning squirrel photos, I think I'll have to pay Eskrigg a visit! Oh, and the cards are great too:-)
I am lucky enough to live somewhere else in the UK that has red squirrels and even though I see them virtually every day I never lose pleasure in watching them. If you keep still they can come very close. I have had them on the back of my deckchair looking over my shoulder and one ran up my husband's leg and sat on his knee for a moment before he realised he was having a very close encounter with a human!!! I love these Christmas cards, really smashing. Elaine x

I fall in love with every scene you do and these are no different, they are fabulous.
As for the Red Squirrel, I have never seen one so it is a joy to see your photos, thank you.
Yipee! I got to see the purple version of your fabulous serene card.
Love all the photos of all the squirrels. Thanks for sharing them.
Love your Christmas cards Sally - in both colours and you have inspired me to get my stamps out and have a play!
I love the photo's of the red squirrels too - I've not seen one of those for a long time! They are so beautiful too Karen xx
The red squirrel is really cute. We can't say that we don't see squirrels here - on the contrary, they're in my garden every day, and often three of them at the same time! It's fun to watch them - however, they are the grey ones. Of course they empty the bird feeders, but this year was the first time that they also attacked my sunflowers!
Oh I am soooooooooo envious of your experience with the red squirrel!!! LOVE these little creatures xxxx
