Simply Christmas for the penultimate Rudolf day and lots of Autumn!

Here are my two cards for Rudolf day this month. I used two stamps from Inkylicious. The tree scene (treescape 1) is a new stamp (Isn't it fab?) and 'walking in a winter wonderland' can be found on the website.
This first one was stamped in memento Teal Zeal and then masked whilst I dusted the sky in the same ink. Then I dotted lots of quicky glue pen and glitter across the foreground.
The second one was done in exactly the same way but with Danube blue memento ink. Might try a purple version next!
I am entering them in Sarn's Rudolf Day challenge and Allsorts, where the theme is 'Just Christmas'.
Before Christmas takes over completely, I wanted to show you some photos from a lovely walk I took with Lynne when I went to stay for a few days. We visited Eskrigg Nature reserve near Lockerbie. The sun came out and we enjoyed the colours and the wildlife...
 red squirrels,
 glorious beech trees
 a king boletus mushroom,
 more beech trees,
 tiny toadstools (Possibly changeable agarics)
 a nuthatch
and more beech leaves!
Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoyed the autumn colours as much as we did!

Your pretty scenes are lovely on these Christmas cards, Sally...but your fabulous photos steal the show!!!

How lovely to see the red squirrels. We never get to see them here...the American grey and black squirrels abound here instead. I did have the pleasure of seeing your red squirrels on my last trip to England. What a treat that was!

FABULOUS photos and the fact you know what the bird is! LOL Lovely Autumn colours, the beech certainly knows how to be a beauty at this time of year.

Stunning cards. In like both of those blue colours. I really should be more adventurous instead of just using black all the time. Hugs Mrs A.

Thank you for sharing the autumn wilderness walk photos with us! We don't get that kind of nature here. Just sun, more sun, and some pale green stuff with lots of prickles.

Love the two Rudolph cards with their peaceful scene. Do try a version in purple. I'll bet it would be lovely!

Beautiful scenes on your cards, and your autumn photography was such a joy! All except for the red squirrel! They're very aggressive in our area, and nearly ran over my feet on two occasions while sitting on our front porch! Eek!

From one Sally to another, thanks for visiting. I love your cards & those nature shots are fab, as soon as I saw the red squirrel I thought to myself this must be Scotland - I'm lucky enough to sometimes have them play in the garden & last week we had a young deer take an amble through as well, looked a bit lost so I suspect he'd strayed from his/her mum.

Lovely cards there Sally. That stamp is just fabulous and can be changed just by inking with another colour.
As for your autumnal pictures, they are gorgeous. It has been a while since I saw red squirrels up at the nature reserve near Tomintoul.

2 very lovely Rudolph scenes. Love the comparison of the Teal & the Danube..as I was trying to decide which I liked best. I couldn't! Love the clean look you've achieved with the pretty icy scene using this as a central border focus against the crisp clean white of the background card. Also very much enjoyed your gorgeous photos. Wish I had some of your photo skills! TFS & Hugs

Your autumn photos are lovely - isn't this a wonderful season? Your squirrel is cute - we don't have red squirrels here, only grey ones.
