Never before used stuff and very different for me!

I decided it was time to break out the brushos and have a play. Then I couldn't decide what stamps to use, until I remembered 'Banksy Girl Balloon' that Deby included for me in my last parcel from Inkylicious. If you would like this stamp, do ring and ask for it to be added to your order.
I also used a freebie sentiment stamp from the Craft stamper, which I think was a visible image design, and looked like it would suit the style of the card. I used memento Luxe ink (available from Inkylicious) which is very black and perfect for stamping over bright colours.
This is such a different and unusual card for me, but I think I like it! I feel a little more confident with the brushos now and will have another play soon, hopefully.
For this card I used a snippet of black card for the  matting and layering. I also used a snippet of centura pearl which I used the back of with my brushos. I am off to play with the girls in the snippet playground and hoping the wind hasn't played havoc with the tree house. Maybe have a little sing with the playground choir too, if Miss Di doesn't mind. Hoping that Parsnip has got over his new year hangover too!
I am also taking this over to Darnell's NBUS (never before used schtuff) challenge, as all the stamps and the brushos have not been used before.
 Never-Before-Used-Schtuff (Stamps, Dies, EFs, etc.)
Thanks for looking!

Sally, this is really nice, even if different from your usual style. I love this little stamp, I saw it a while back in Craft Stamper and finallyI got it at Ally Pally last year and made a card with it http://craftshedgirl.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/a-quick-card-and-holiday.html#comment-form the recipient really loved it. Your Brusho background is smashing, they are a bit different to control aren't they? So far mine have been very bright!!! Whoever gets yours will love it I am sure. Have a happy Sunday. Elaine x

Wow, love the stamp, and love the brushos. I bought some last year with great intentions (like we do) and they are still in the cupboard unopened. I really must get them out and play.

Love your card Sally, I've been playing with brusho again with mixed results! There you go again tempting me to buy more Inkylicious stamps as I love the little girl stamp, would be great for our great granddaughters and maybe I need the luxe ink pad too?

WOW - Sally . . . I absolutely ADORE this card. Your Brusho background looks fabulous and I think you chose the perfect stamps to go on top. It's different to your scenic cards but just as brilliant.

I bought some Brushos and had a try (or 26 million)! Not happy enough to share anything yet - you've mastered them with ease Sally - this is just lovely!

Yes, Sally, a very different card for you but I definitely like it. The stamps go perfectly with the background.

Love your card Sally. I've just taken advantage of Oyster Stamps sale and bought some Brushos with some money I got for Christmas. I've seen the fabulous arty effects that Eileen Godwin has created with them and have been dying to have a go. Just need a bit of spare time to get messy, painty and inky - can't wait! Stef x

A very quick visit Sal, we've had no internet the last few days and sounds like it's going to be off again for server maintenance but just wanted to check on your latest makes and say hello.

I love the fabulous background you have created. I really must get mine back out for a play. I even have a cd on brusho secrets to watch as well. To many things to do and not enough hours in the day. Wishing you a happy crafty New Year . Hugs Mrs A.

What an exciting card, Sally! It just vibrates with color and your choice of image and sediment could not be more perfect! Excellent job with the inaugural Brushos publication! It's an honor to have you enter it in my NBUS Challenge #3! Great snippets use, too! I won't be able to be in the choir with you, seeing as how I've been banned. Some ridiculous reason like because I can't hold a tune, but I am in charge of beverages, so you can be sure fun will be had! Hugs, Darnell
