August at Stamping Sensations

Good morning, It's time for our August challenge at Stamping Sensations and this month we are looking for

 ****Things with wings****
As the title suggest we would love to see your hand stamped creations showing us birds, insects, fairies and anything else you can think of with wings. I am sure you will come up with lots of fabulous and colourful designs.
My card features a gorgeous magpie from our wonderful sponsors this month, Rubber Dance. The background was created by smooshing distress oxide inks and the images were stamped with versafine clair ink. The magpie was embossed with Stamping Stuff kaleidascope embossing powder. Check out the multicoloured sheen...
Our prize this month is a £25 voucher for the Rubber Dance online store. There are so many gorgeous stamps to choose from too!

Please ensure you check our challenge rules before entering, it may save you embarrassment and make sure your entry receives comments from the team and is entered into the prize draw. We run our challenge for fun in our spare time. It is your responsibility if entering to make sure you follow our challenge rules.
Do pop over to the challenge blog and take a look at the gorgeous designs from all my talented teamies! They really have made some wonderful cards again this month!
Thanks for looking!

This is beautiful, GORGEOUS background and love the sparkly bird. The challenge should have been last week for me when I had a magpie also LOL. Will have to see if I can do anything. Love your card.

Stunning card, Sally! The kaleidoscope EP couldn't be more fitting for the magpie to represent its iridescent colouring. Love the background and colours too. xx

Gorgeous creation, love all the glitter on the lovely bird image, not too sure about the sentiment, I was in the church choir and on a few occasions was told to mime, just there to put the numbers up.
Enjoy your school holidays.

I just knew it would be birds for you Sally, the embossed finish looks lovely and rather like a verdigris one I had years ago so will be checking out this one. Bx

Such a beautiful effect on this gorgeous card Sally. The colours in the embossing powder look just like the colours you can sometimes see in Magpies.
