Journal pages using this week's Bee Crafty Palette

Hi There! This week I thought I would have a little play with the Bee Crafty Palette in my journal. Every week Bev is providing some inspiration on the Bee Crafty Facebook page for the new colours. Some folk might find 5 shades of brown a bit tricky, but to me it gave off vintage vibes, so here's what I did.

I began by smooshing some Rusty Hinge distress oxide ink over a double page in my journal.

I also smooshed some Vintage photo distress oxide ink.
Using the same ink I used a tag inkable from set one and blended through it around the pages.
Next I used the script stamp (not on a stamping block) to add patches of script in Ground espresso Distress oxide ink.
To finish off the background, I added a few splatters of the Ground Espresso and some white splatters too.
I chose one of the small images from the front A4 sheet of Autumn portraits Catalyst collage papers. I cut it out and blended a little ink around the edges.
On a scrap of paper, I stamped the large flower from Journaling essentials set 8, cut it out and coloured it using rusty hinge Distress oxide ink.
I added both of these to the pages with matte medium, adding a few highlights with a gold pen. On the background, I also added a little stamping using a smaller stamp from the journaling essentials set already mentioned.
On a piece of rust coloured paper, I stamped and heat embossed a ticker tape sentiment in white.
I cut this out and added it to the pages with matte medium.
Here are the finished pages once more.

I used:
Distress Oxide inks in Rusty Hinge, Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso
Versamark ink
White ink/ paint or posca pen for splatters

I will be live at 8pm this evening on the Bee Crafty Facebook page. I hope you can join me.
Thanks for looking!
