Hi There! For my blog post today I thought I would use mostly the Lilius set of stamps and create a simple card. Here's how I did it.
I began by blending distress inks through the Bakewell big one inkable onto the front of a 6x6" card blank.
Next I used the Border from the Doodle Art Daisy stamp set and stamped it in wilted violet Distress ink along the side of the stencilling. Onto the card front I stamped the larger lillius stamp in black ink.
I also stamped the same image onto a scrap of white card, colouring it with Ecoline pens and cutting out the leaves and flower head. I coloured the stem on the base card using the same pens.
Using Matte Medium, I added the coloured parts to the flower and also used liquid pearls to add to the stamens
On another scrap of card, I stamped the sentiment and the corner stamp from the same set.
I used:
6x6" card blank
Distress inks (Distress oxide inks would be equally suitable) - I used Wilted Violet, Twisted Citron, Fossilized Amber and Abandoned Coral
Black Versafine Clair ink
Ecoline pens
Liquid Pearls - I used Buttercup
3d foam
Matte Medium
This card was made using this week's Bee Crafty Palette but it also fit the Challenge theme for this month too, where we have a theme of Spring Zing (Bright colours and spring images)
Thanks for looking!
