What's my Crafty Passion?

Good Morning and welcome to the first Sunday in the month, in other words, time for another Stampalot Challenge. For July we are asking 'What's your Crafty Passion?' Well, where do I start?!
Distress inks, tree stamps, Hero Arts leaf swirl and old French writing to name but a few. Here is a close up of that old French writing that I stamped in versamark and brushed with mica powders...
The tree(Indigo Blu) was stamped with flitterglu and then covered with gilding flakes.

Another crafty passion I have is floral stamps, so I made a second card featuring a Penny Black floral stamp called Dreamy, Hero Arts friend definition, and the gorgeous new summer set of distress inks. I used my ink dusters over the embossed image to blend the three inks together before stamping the friend definition with shaded lilac DI from the spring set. The prize this month is this rather lovely set of goodies.
Pop over to the Challenge blog and take a look at the fabulous creations of our lovely Design team, and then create something to show us your crafty passion.
Thanks for looking!

I've just seen this on the Stampalot page and it took my breath away! The colour is perfect - so often metallics just look glossy without any real 'shine' if you know what I mean! I love the script and flourish combo too! Have a lovely Sunday!

Stunning work, Sally, and of course we share some of those passions, namely trees, text, French, flowers and colour! May even try to take part in this... Hope the run up to last day isn't too stressful - almost over now x

A touch of deja vous here Sally, but nothing wrong with that at all.

Both great cards, but the second with the multi coloured background stamping really grabs me.

Got my flitter glue from Coleman's warehouse yesterday, along with some scrunchy, no cleaner though. Will the stamps clean without it ?

Have a lovely Sunday and watch out for those elephants on your way to Tesco.

Your cards are beautiful as always Sally. One of my new passions is the gilding flakes, and as ever you are the Queen of the Ink Dusters x

Both stunning cards, Sally. The tree is my favourite, of course, but I also love the colours on the dreamy flower.

Hope the weekend is going well! x

Magic, the tree is perfect with the gilding and the flower in those lovely soft colours (and ink dusters?) dreamy. but how on earth did you narrow it down to just 2? Thinking hard. XOXO Zoe

These are both a joy - I too love script & I'm intrigued by your use of those mica powders. The PB creation is gorgeous too & I love the way you used the same stamp to create your striking background yet kept it all designedly (?real word) together with the ink dusting around your embossed image.

They are both stunning, Sally but I think that beautiful flower just does it for me. And what are you doing tempting me to the summer di's after I've resisted for nearly a week!!!! Those colours are just gorgeous. Now, where did I put my crafty pennies.
Hope Megs exams went well, she must be breathing a huge sigh of relief and glad you all survived the storms last week, what a Summer we are having!!!
