I had been playing with a new stamp from Little Claire, and had coloured it with promarkers when I saw this week's challenge at Less is More was a colour theme that it fit pretty well! I made it into a card and here it is:
I hope it is CAS enough for you ladies! There is less white space than I would normally use. Looking at it now, it might need some glitter too!
I also needed another card last weekend - not the sort you ever want to make...
I used Spring Distress inks and stamps from Inkylicious and Personal Impressions. I had intended posting this Monday evening, but then there was a phone call on Monday lunchtime, from Ofsted. They left the building at 4.15 today, so I will be relaxing this evening and recharging the batteries rather than being at school for 12 hours solid. Thanks for your lovely comments and I will do my best to pop and see you when I get the chance.

Superbly different Sympathy card & I particularly like the way you stamped the flower twice with the stem in different directions - the aqua & that pale violet-blue lloks amazing together, the musical background is a very useful idea for such a card too.
The way you coloured the flowers for the first is very effective & I like the way that the shapes in the border die-cut echo the frilliness of the stamped petal edges. Lovely way of using a single floral stamp too.
Hope you've had some rest by the time you read this.

Beautiful cards - love them both!
Both beautiful cards....loving the first one a touch more, the soft colours are lovely.
Love your LIM card Sally those flowers are gorgeous. Lovely sympathy card too. Congrats on surviving Ofsted! I used to assess students in their workplace and once had an ofsted inspector all to myself in the car with me for 3 days!! Horrible:)

Phew, I finally managed to get your blog to load Sally. The problem is my end not yours as I'm finding about two thirds of blogs load with no problem but the rest just come up with the box that says 'problem loading page'! Anyway, I'm finally here for a catch up :D!
Both these cards are lovely Sally. I love the pretty colours on the first one and the second, although you would prefer not to have to make it, is beautiful. I love the stamps you have used.
Glad you survived the Ofsted visit. It must be really stressful.
Hugs

Very pretty card Sally, those flowers are lovely, a great use of the colours.
Hi Sally...two stunning cards. You are so clever. I wish I get effects like these.

Two beautiful, elegant cards Sally! Gorgeous stamping as usual.
Oh, my heart skipped a beat when I read the 'O' word!! I hope it went okay. I was at a SENCO training day all day yesterday and it was all about interpreting school data and SEN self-evaluation as that's what I'll be asked about when it's our turn. Really stressed me out!
xx
I especially like your sympathy card - simple and beautiful, exactly the right thing.
FABULOUS cards, as they always are.
