A couple of Birthday cards

At Stamp magic in June, I bought two lovely background stamps from Crafty Individuals. The first I stamped on the base card using shaded lilac Distress ink, then I dusted around the edges with the same ink. I also dusted a panel of silk art card with dried marigold, shaded lilac and Dusty Concord distress inks before stamping the Inkylicious stamp Hedgerow 1 with memento tuxedo black. I added highlights with white and clear stardust Sakura gelly Roll pens. Finally I added some ultra fine blue/black glitter to the tops of the queen Anne's Lace.
On my second card, I used both Crafty Individuals stamps as the background. The one on the right was stamped in Old Paper Distress ink and the one on the left was stamped in versafine and then dusted with gold pearl pigment. I dusted the base card with tea dye to get the vintage look. The photo is the lady who received it, but about 57 years ago with her twin sister, which I surreptitiously scanned to use on her card!  I attached the sentiment and the photo with 3d glue gel.
Thanks for looking!

Two beautiful cards Sally, I love the scene in the first and the personal touch of the second. I'm sure the lady in question loved it.

Two very different but equally brilliant cards Sally.

Psst . . . do you want to be part of my chocolate smuggling ring in the Snippets Playground this week??? I could do with a look out as the new Prefect, Eve, keeps prowling around the back of the biked sheds looking for evidence!

Both gorgeous cards Sally. I think the first one is absolutely stunning and the colours are perfect. The second one is very different to your usual style of card making. I love the colours that you've used and it's very elegant x

Two very different, but equally wonderful cards.
I love the first one because I love moonscapes, and the beautiful stamps.
The second one is very reminiscent of me at that age, hairstyle especially, but 70 years ago :o)
