Another card from my messy session

Just a quick post to share with you a card I made using some more of the inky papers I made last week. This uses Aspects of design sheet Funky frames, available from the Stamp Man. I added a bit of Faux stitching round the edges. I also added a few dots of sakura stardust pens to the main image. I was trying to be a bit more inventive with them, and I'm not sure it worked!
Just a quick update that my niece has tracked down a housemate who backed up her laptop onto his computer six months ago and still has her photos. Also the Antarctica ones are still on the University server, so she will be able to get most of them back. things are looking quite positive for her thesis too. Thank you so much for all your kind words.

Hi Sally

This is gorgeous.

I love the patchwork look, the colours and that beautiful centre panel.

So pleased to hear there is some good news for your neice.

So how long is your list for your shopping spree on Saturday? Anything in particular you are wanting or is it just "one of everything" LOL!!!

Have a wonderful time and say "hi" to folks from me.

Love Jules xx

That's such good news about your nieces, photos etc., Sally. Thanks for letting us know.

Like Jules said this patchwork look is lovely. The colours are so pretty and I think the centre panel is just right.

I envy your visit to Sir Stampalot. I'll have to check out the route see if I think I could manage that one weekend. If you can do it I should be able to.

Have fun!

Love those colours, Sally and that's probably the best thing to do with those inks, lol. Great news about your niece - she must've been devastated. I can only imagine how much work would have been involved but it makes me shiver to think about it. Hope it all turns out well for her in the end.

Gorgeous! Love those backgrounds. Haven't had chance to get messy yet. Playing with some Hero Arts digistamps at the moment - check them out if you haven't already!

Glad to hear things are looking better for your niece. x

Hi Sally

Your card is so colourful, I love it.

So glad to hear your Neice has managed to recover most of her photos and data. I've been thinking about it ever since reading about her. I just couldn't imagine how I would feel to loose all this kind of stuff. I've been backing up my photos like a mad thing all week!!
All my very best to her and enjoy your weekend, it sounds like it's going to be a good one.
