Meg's Story and another wedding card

Today Megan was invited (with two guests) to a presentation and tea at County Hall. She received a copy of the book in which her short story has been published. You can read more about the competition here and find out more about the book here. Here she is with her copy. I'm a very proud Mum!
Now you know I still wasn't sure about the other wedding cards I did? Well I've made a third, and I think this is the one I will give them!
I used Rubber Stamp Tapestry stamps for the heart, adding a few punched flowers and some gold tulip paint. The base card is stamped with Art Impressions T2773 in aged mahogany. I used my MS doily lace border punch and a white organza ribbon. I hand wrote their names in the heart, because no matter how hard I tried with the alphabet stamps I own, I couldn't get them straight! I am in the process of making something else for them, which I will post soon. Thanks for looking!

Megan, congratulations on you first(?) published piece! Working with Grade 7s here in Canada, I am amazed at what wonderful tales some create. Keep it up:) I'll be trying to find the book so that I can read your story! Mom, be proud, sounds like Megan is a great kid!

Congratulations Megan and I know how your mum feels about her beautiful, talented daughter.

When my son (now nearly 32) was a bit younger than you he was invited to tea with the Mayor and to switch on the Christmas lights as his prize for a 'Letter to the Mayor' competition. I was doubly proud because he is dyslexic.

Your card's not bad either Sally, Lol! Seriously, it's beautiful.

Enjoy the wedding tomorrow.

Hi Sally, I picked a nice day to join your blog. Congratulations to your lovely daughter on her first publication, the start of many I'm sure. You know what they say, the apple doesn't drop to far from the tree, so well done you too! Love your wedding card, have always admired those stamps but have yet to get them. Have a nice weekend.
