Tuesday taggers - Teddies

Here's my entry for this week's Tuesday Taggers, where the theme is Teddies, sponsored by the Craft Barn. I had no teddy stamps at all...funny, cos I used to have some... Oh yes, they were all in Megan's craft drawer! The stamp is by Rubber Stampede and is called best friend bears! I coloured it with promarkers and used distress ink round the edges. The papers are all small scraps of leftovers from other projects. I finished it off with a scrap of sari ribbon.
As a child I had mostly home made bears as my Nana used to make them for me. They got better the more she made. By the time I was 15 she was an expert and they did look like they were 'shop' ones! The ones I cuddled as a youngster were...how can I put it...unique? a bit lopsided? Definitely not as pretty as these two.  Thanks for looking!

Hi Sally

What a lovely card and a lovely story about your homemade bears.

I would rather have the lopsided bear made with love than a perfect bear from the toy store.

Anyway, back to your lovely creation. Those bears are gorgeous and I particularly like the ribbon!

Hope you are having a good weekend.

Love Jules xx

Cute bears, great card & lovely story. My first bear, given to me when I was born & which I still have, is now very lopsided. Can't remember what he used to be called, but now he's very definitely Fred! If I manage to get a bear card made before Tuesday, I'll post his photo with it. x

Gorgeous card Sally and loe the two little bears. That bow is fabulous!

I had one really well loved Teddy which eventually fell to pieces after I got married but he had one arm that wore out several times as I always had him on the same side of me in bed and used to lie on his left arm, poor thing so he was definitely lop sided.

Hi Sally. Love your Teddy Bears, fancy that stamp hiding in Meg's stash!!!!
What a lovely bear story. I bet they were much loved being handmade.
I still have my teddies although They are hiding in the loft, too much of a disgrace to be on show!!!! I do have some new ones though.
By the way, have you got your new car by any chance!!!!! It sounds much loved already.
Happy Driving.
